Bring Back Manufacturing, Re-Claim World Leadership

Elitist economists and business schools sold the United States down the river. Several years ago they kept repeating the mantra that the "United States is becoming a service economy". The old adage is if you keep repeating something over and over people begin to believe it...and they did. While service was surely destined to increase, to suggest that manufacturing was going to go away was ridiculous. The core strength of America since the Industrial Revolution has been manufacturing. We are blessed with raw materials, rivers and transportation systems, and a huge market for goods right here in America. Under the right kind of leadership we have the best workforce in the world. Look around you and you see "things". These include automobiles, furniture, computers, appliances, sporting goods, clothing, and all kinds of household goods and necessities. All these things have to be manufactured and manufacturing is the core strength of our nation and our economy.

Nations that make things are winners. Nations that only consume things are losers and become dependent.

In many cases the reasons for companies to manufacture elsewhere in the world, or to buy goods from foreign countries, were based upon false economics. Manufacturing is much more than dollars per hour wages. Raw materials have to be imported into many of these foreign countries. Productivity, quality, and the cost of poor quality have to be considered. The cost of importing goods to the huge markets of the United States and Europe have to be considered. And more.

The United States not only loses by not manufacturing right here in our country, we begin to lose in such vital areas as research and technology, invention, process technology and innovation, basic manufacturing know how, marketing, inventory management and distribution, and more. We also lose greatly by not having the financial benefit of exporting our goods to other countries.

By giving up manufacturing we become a dependent nation, and in some cases dependent upon goods that are vital for our national defense.

As we sleep, China has now eclipsed the United States as the leader of the global economy and is a major economic power producing $17.6 trillion in goods and services (IMF). They are the largest economy, manufacturer, merchandise trader, and holder of foreign exchange reserves ( Congressional Research Service). Fourteen years ago the US was ahead of China by a ratio of 3 to 1. The United States owes China a whopping $1.27 trillion. When economists and the media report that the Chinese economy is in trouble, they are dead wrong. They manipulate their currency so as to enhance their trade position even further. Their interest rates are at about 4.6% right where it should be. Inflation is running at a healthy 1.4 to 2 percent. The US would die for their GDP which is running about 6.8%. Practically everything we buy today in the United States is "Made in China". This is extremely unhealthy. Before President Clinton left office in 2001 he gave China perpetual Most Favored Nations trade status with the United States leaving our door wide open where before this would be reviewed on an annual basis.

In the mid 90's China mysteriously obtained US nuclear and secret high level weapons technology; rocket, missile and space technology; encryption and military logistics technology, and more. China is now on an accelerated path of outdoing the United States militarily and with space technology while we are "hitching a ride" on Russian spacecraft.

Not only is it critical for our economy for the United States to bring back our core strength of manufacturing to our country; it is critical to our national defense. We need to see "Made in America" on most of our goods. No single step would bring back our economy and our position of world leadership more. The betrayal must end.

Mexico Immigration Laws Show Hypocriticalness

Mexico welcomes only foreigners who will be useful to Mexican society; have necessary funds for their sustenance; do not upset the equilibrium of national demographics; and must be physically and mentally healthy. The Secretary of Governance may prohibit foreigners when it is of national interest to do so.

Mexican authorities must keep track of every single person in the country.

Foreigners with fake papers, or who enter the country under false pretenses, may be imprisoned (and are!).

Foreigners who fail to obey the rules will be fined, deported, and / or imprisoned as felons.

Under Mexican law, illegal immigration is a felony. An offender will be imprisoned for up to 2 years and fined and/or be deported.

Mexicans who help illegal aliens enter the country are themselves considered criminals under the law.

The Mexican constitution denies fundamental property rights to foreigners.

The Mexican constitution denies equal employment rights to immigrants, even legal
ones, in the public sector.

The Mexican constitution guarantees that immigrants will never be treated as real Mexican citizens, even if they are legally naturalized.

An immigrant who becomes a naturalized Mexican citizen can be stripped of his Mexican citizenship if he lives again in the country of his origin for more than five years.

Foreign-born, naturalized Mexican citizens may not become federal lawmakers (Article 55), cabinet secretaries (Article 91) or supreme court justices (Article 95).

The president of Mexico must be a Mexican citizen by birth AND his parents must also be Mexican-born citizens (Article 82), thus giving secondary status to Mexican-born citizens.

The Mexican constitution singles out “undesirable aliens.” born of immigrants.

The Mexican constitution provides the right of private individuals to make citizen’s arrests. Therefore, the Mexican constitution appears to grant Mexican citizens the right to arrest illegal aliens and hand them over to police for prosecution.

The Mexican constitution states that foreigners may be expelled for any reason and without due process.

In addition to the recent Book Clinton Cash that identifies extremely questionable fund raising, especially from foreign governments, people are quick to forget something even more egregious that occurred during the Clinton administration of which Hillary was a part. In fact some referred to her as co--president during that time. During this time as Chinese money was brought to the Clinton's and their re-election campaign, VITAL U.S. secrets somehow went to China concerning high level weapons technology, space technology, nuclear arms technology, missile technology, encryption technology, and logistical technology. When these leaks began to become apparent, suddenly all attention was diverted to an American / Asian scientist at Los Alamos Laboratories, Dr. Wen Ho Lee. He was falsely accused and spent 9 months in jail in solitary confinement in violation of his Constitutional rights. This was a diversion away from the Clinton's. He was later released with charges dropped, he had served his purpose to draw attention away.

Today China's technology development on all the fronts mentioned above have mysteriously skyrocketed at an accelerated pace, so much so that they now threaten to outdo U.S. on military and space technology.

As a last act just before leaving presidential office Bill Clinton gave China perpetual Most Favored Nation Trade status with the United States. You can thank Bill Clinton when nearly everything that you buy today is "Made in China".

I urge you, irrespective of party or ideology, to inform yourself. This next presidential election is critical to the future of America. I urge the media, to again return to your responsibility to dig out and report the facts to the American people.

Vaccines - Be Careful !

In April of 2009 the possibility of a pandemic was announced due to the swine flu, by Margaret Chan, Director General the World Health Organization (UN), and also by the Center for Disease Control in the US. The potential of millions dying world wide was announced as a possibility. Then after the announcement they put people in a state of further fear by saying there was no known vaccine for this strain of the flu, nothing that people could do. Panic began to set in even further when the media carried headline stories that a boy in Texas died due to the Swine flu. (Later it was found out that he died from other causes.)

Then, with no explanation, they said that a vaccine WAS mysteriously available and that everyone should rush to get vaccinated, especially children. Many did, some resisted the vaccine. What they didn't tell you was that this vaccine was manufactured in China. USA Today reported on November 29, 2011, "China's vaccine-making prowess captured world attention in 2009 when one of its companies developed the first effective vaccine against swine flu — in just 87 days — as the new virus swept the globe." Oh, by the way, Margaret Chan is Chinese. The threat of swine flu kind of disappeared with little fanfare in late 2009 and early 2010. Turns out the "pandemic" just kind of drifted away.

The next year, as a senior, I received the regular seasonal flu vaccine. After a few days I began to get severe muscle and joint pain. This lasted for several weeks, at times I could hardly walk. I began to do some research and what I found out was that MANY seniors were complaining of the same problem and they felt it was due to the seasonal flu vaccine that they had received. I did more investigation and discovered that there was a ton of the Chinese swine flu vaccine left over, so the UN WHO (Margaret Chan?) came to the rescue. They directed that a trivalent vaccine be used in North America that included the leftover Chinese swine flu vaccine as one of its components. (I discovered this in a short paragraph on a back page that was issued by the Associated Press).

I wrote a letter the Center of Disease Control and asked them some simple questions:

1) Was the swine flu vaccine manufactured in China?

2) Was leftover Chinese manufactured swine flu vaccine used as one of the components of the trivalent seasonal flu vaccine used un 2010 - 11?

3) Why is it that the UN, the World Health Organization, was allowed to dictate what seasonal flu vaccine is used in the United States? Where is the CDC on this?

After a few weeks I received a response from the US Center for Disease Control. I received a bunch of gobbly gook, they didn't answer any of my very simple questions. I went back to them a 2nd time. They didn't answer.

Now let's take this one step further. The "experts".....and as some media people say that "science" dictates that everyone should get vaccinated. Well maybe science does but do they know what exactly is being injected into the bodies of their children and others?

According to a Bulletin from the World Health Organization (UN) issued in 2014 "China is currently producing nearly all of the commonly-used vaccines for viral diseases such as influenza, measles, rabies (for humans), mumps, rotavirus, hepatitis A and B and for bacterial diseases, including typhoid, tetanus and diphtheria". Further, "Since 1987, vaccine quality for international procurement has been assured through the pre-qualification system that is managed by the World Health Organization (WHO)".  Do you know that China has more than 30 vaccine producing companies that have the capability of producing over a billion doses of vaccine?

Are we to trust China and Chinese quality? Haven't we already experienced Chinese quality with severe and disgusting food contamination, building products failures, children's toys and furniture safety problems...and more? Are we to trust the UN dictating US vaccines? Are we to trust Margaret Chan Director General of WHO? 

We are told that the US Food and Drug Administration will protect us. This is the same FDA that can't even keep up with all the contaminated food coming into the US, let alone vaccines. Do your research!

Are you are OK with pumping Chinese manufactured vaccines into the arms of your children? The experts are mostly right about the science, but NOT about the product being given to your children.

Be careful, America, on what vaccines you allow to be injected into your arms and those of your loved ones.

Our federal government is abdicating it's responsibility to the UN and China, and NOT protecting Americans.

Diocese Threatens to Close Storied Catholic High School

Save Cathedral High Day Announced - December 16, 2014

The Roman Catholic Diocese of Springfield, Massachusetts threatens to close one of the most storied Catholic High Schools in the nation. Cathedral High School in Springfield was destroyed by a tornado on June 1, 2011. Since that time students have heroically made due, without complaint, in an old abandoned elementary school in Wilbraham, MA . They anxiously looked forward to a new high school after suffering for 3 years over an insurance dispute. Finally, then Bishop Timothy McDonnell, announced the go ahead to build a new school to a jubilant crowd on March 3, 2014. Then a new Bishop, Mitchell Rozanski, was installed in August 2014 and in November he pulled back the reins on a new school and has placed the school's future in doubt.

The school started in Springfield in 1883 has had a continual stream of notable alumni and is well known for academic excellence as well as being a sports powerhouse. Notables include, but are not limited to, 1943 Heisman Trophy Winner, Angelo Bertelli; Larry O'Brien, Advisor to President John F. Kennedy and later US Postmaster General, then NBA Commissioner; NFL Hall of Famer Nick Buoniconti; current US Congressman from Vermont Peter Welch; tennis pro Tim Mayotte; current MLB pitchers Scott Brown and Chris Capuano; NBA player and coach Vinny DelNegro; and current Head Basketball Coach at UMass, Derek Kellogg. The list goes on and on and includes Monsignors in the Catholic faith, vice presidents of banks, judges, CEO's, business owners, prominent lawyers, political and civic leaders, and so many other highly contributing citizens to their communities. There are some 25,000 living alumni.

Cathedral students come from the Greater Springfield area, North Central Connecticut, and include international students. The student body represents a broad diversity. The entire area is in a state of shock that closing such a storied and a historic school like Cathedral is even being considered. Civic leaders, school neighbors, alumni, and a vast majority of Catholics and citizens in the Diocese favor a new Cathedral. More than enough money is available to build a new school from insurance and FEMA monies.

The Diocese cites declining enrollment, financially sustainability and money needed for "other ministries". Yet proponents for a new Cathedral claim that much of this is self caused by the Diocese itself and with a commitment to build, leadership, some simple marketing of the school, and proven fund raising based upon trust that Cathedral could evolve toward bring mostly self funded.

A little over year ago a small grass roots committee was formed called the Committee for Cathedral Action (CCA). The sole mission is to get a new Cathedral High School built and to give students the high school that they deserve, now and in the future. CCA confidently claims that with the proper leadership, clarity of purpose, some basic marketing approaches, and a commitment, that enrollment will increase significantly. That sustainability will come about by this type of positive leadership and creative funding as exhibited by other successful Catholic high schools. On November 20 CCA announced to a jam packed crowd at St. Anthony's Hall in Springfield the launching of Campaign Cathedral aimed at saving Cathedral High School. Attendees enthusiastically offered their support, signed up to serve on committees, and offered financial support.

On December 16, 2014 CCA is declaring this day as SAVE CATHEDRAL HIGH DAY throughout the Greater Springfield area, and North Central Connecticut as further encouragement to Bishop Rozanski to go forward, without further delay, and build the new Cathedral High School. People throughout the area will be encouraged to show their support by Save Cathedral High T-Shirts, bumper stickers, lawn signs, wearing Cathedral jackets, hats etc. or just by wearing the school color, purple on that day...anything to show their support for Cathedral High.

Worst Global Holocaust in History on Horizon

What is rapidly growing is the worst pure evil force in humankind. This potentially, if not dealt with, could be a hundred times worse than Hitler and Nazi Germany. This evil force is radical Islam. It is evil since it's fundamental premise is to force all people to convert to Islam, become slaves to it, or die. In enforcing this premise they indiscriminately and brutally murder innocent men, women, and children. They subjugate all women, including those who are Muslim. They have raped, mutilated, tortured, beheaded, or otherwise murdered young girls and women, and use others as sex slaves. Their intent it to kill all Jews and to wipe Israel off the face of the earth. They have burned down hundreds of Christian Churches.

In some areas of the Mid East they have brutally killed children including babies and toddlers 5 and 6 years old, beheaded them and placed their heads on poles, crucified them and used other uncivilized brutal murderous methods on them. Children! They have thrown acid in the faces of female school children and shot in the face a Muslim girl for getting an education. Fathers and brothers kill their own daughters and sisters for violating their twisted version of radical Islam. Parents proudly send off their sons (or daughters) to blow themselves to bits while killing innocent civilians, including children. They use their own people as human shields in combat, including women and children. Radical Islamists have a rabid and lustful blood thirst for killing.

All of the above is true and factual. We see it constantly in the news, example after example of it almost daily...it is undeniable. Many say that it is only a small minority of Muslims who are radical. If we do assume that most Muslims are good people and only a smaller percentage are the radical Islamists who commit these horrendous acts, we still need to be very concerned by this "small percentage"'. Let's look factually at the numbers involved that are radical and why we should be concerned.

Pew Research has indicated that there are 1.6 billion Muslims, 23% of the world population. Other sources indicate that it might be as high as 2.0 billion now. They are rapidly growing through converts and the jihadist approach of increasing births to increase the radical ranks. It has been projected that the Muslim population may be as high as 1 in 3 people in the world by 2030. Polls and various reports seem to indicate that about 10% (or higher) are radical Islamists. Sounds small at first glance, but if we use the 1.6 billion number this is 160 million radical Islamists world wide. It gets worse since some studies have indicated that although many Muslims are not actively radical themselves, as many as 20 to 25% agree with the premises of radical Islam. This means that from 320 to 400 million Muslims believe in or support radical Islam...more than the population of the entire United States! Don't allow those who use the words "small percentage" to lull you to a comfort zone over what is going on world wide. It is just the opposite, you should be alarmed.

Radical Islam is growing rapidly. There are those who are within the Muslim faith who are being brainwashed and radicalized. In addition there are those who are non Muslims, world wide, who are dissatisfied with life, dysfunctional, criminal, or who have a variety of other problems and who harbor hatred as a result. Radical Islam for many is a perfect place to vent their hatred in an organized way where they may feel that they have a higher level of importance and belonging, even honor in a twisted way. Examples of this are where apparent British and American citizens received international attention for the beheadings and mass murdering of captives in a rabid, blood thirsty manner. Geographically radical Islam is spreading widely across the globe to many countries and regions. There are pockets of radical Islam existing in Western nations.

Radical Islam is already a world wide threat, yet is only in it's rudimentary stages. Imagine what it will be like when it acquires weapons of mass destruction and the necessary delivery systems, and a high level of military technology. Already Iran is very close to developing nuclear weapons as we proceed with faux negotiations. Syria and now ISIL have recently used chemical weapons. With all the facts above and what has been said, the future massive threat of out of control radical Islam becomes frightening. It can become the worst global threat and holocaust in human history, a hundred times worse than Hitler's Nazi Germany.

We are at a critical crossroad. Unchecked radical Islam may very well gain control of the entire world as peaceful, free, and democratic countries sit back and do nothing. In the United States it is a fatal error to cover up, and at times seemingly refuse to state that radical Islam even exists, even though we have plenty examples of it. (We use self fooling words like "workplace violence" or refuse to even use the words "radical Islam".) Many European countries seem to have their heads in the sand on this issue and appear to be afraid to confront it. Yet some have pockets within their own countries where radical Islam exists and seemingly controls. Some countries attempt to ignore or appease it. All of this creates a very dangerous opening for radical Islam to move at an accelerated rate. Some good or "moderate" Muslim countries sit on the fence while playing both sides, opposing it at times and at other times supporting radical Islamic groups. All of this gives terrorism a near free pass since opposition is disorganized, singular, or non existent.

It is a time where no good, peaceful, democratic, and freedom loving nation can sit back. No country that believes in human rights and is opposed to the brutal killing of humans...including innocent children and women. No country that believes in slavery, since if not death, that is what radical Islam calls for. There can be no country that sits on the fence or sidelines. All must participate and be united to defeat and eliminate the threat of radical Islam, just as Hitler and Nazi Germany was defeated.

The evil force of radical Islam cannot be ignored. The longer we wait, procrastinate, use politically correct, "self fooling" words, the stronger it will become, leading to the worst global threat in history. It will be a threat to every single nation that doesn't want to be dominated by radical Islam.

United and immediate action is needed by all good nations of the world.

Obama Has Placed US Citizens in Grave Danger

The Obama administration has placed the United States in imminent danger of a major terrorist attack. It is fundamental that in order to deal with and solve a problem you have to first admit that it is there, identify it, and take action to address it. Yet the Obama administration has done just the opposite and purposely purged any mention of radical Islamic terrorism, and even the word terrorism, from any government and military literature, as well as with any public discourse. We have example after example of this...the Fort Hood act of terrorism is called "work place violence". The word "terrorism" is purposely avoided in reference to the Boston Marathon bombing, and so it goes. This refusal, for some apparent political purpose, places the United States in grave danger since the threat is not identified, yet it is real. The #1 problem facing the United States and the world is radical Islamic terrorism.

In 2009 President Obama failed to issue even verbal support to the uprising of the Iranian people. He essentially gave "silent approval" to the theocratic brutal dictatorship of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. The people of Iran weren't looking for military intervention and support, just words of encouragement. Today clear thinking people know that Iran is playing the United States for suckers through faux negotiations over stopping their nuclear weapons program. What they are doing is causing a delay in time to enable them to complete, not cease, gaining nuclear weapons capability. When they obtain this capability they will be a threat to Israel, the United States and to the world.

In Egypt and Libya the Obama administration gave support to the overthrow of Mubarak in Egypt, and Gaddafi in Libya. Yet there was NO PLAN to fill the vacuum. The obvious then happened, the vacuum was filled by Islamic extremists. The Obama administration gave support to the radical Muslim Brotherhood, even invited them to the White House. It took the Egyptian people to throw out the leadership of Morsi and the Muslim Brotherhood. Suffice it to say that the entire foreign policy of the Obama administration concerning radical Islam is a total disaster, throughout the Mid East, and throughout the world.

In Iraq and Afghanistan, instead of having a well coordinated withdrawal of US troops that provided for protection of those countries as the present readership were able to sustain control, there was an announced nearly full withdrawal that gave the radical extremists an opportunity to gain control. It defeats all common sense and logic. All of these moves by the Obama administration appear to be for political purposes, not for what is in the best interests of those countries and the United States. In Iraq we now have the early formation of a radical Islamic caliphate that is a threat to the entire region, the United States and the world. Expect the same sort of thing to happen in Afghanistan.

What is immediately most frightening is what is happening within the United States. We have total anarchy at our borders, a complete sieve taking place that allows not only illegal immigrants looking for a better life, but members of drug cartels, hardened criminals, gang members...and there are reports by border agents and sheriffs along our border that Mid Eastern radicals are intermixed and sneaking in, as well.

Most shocking, however, are the pockets and network of Islamic extremists that now exist all across the United States. They are located in Detroit, Kansas City, Dallas, Denver, Portland OR, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Tucson, Boston, Cleveland, Orlando, Chicago, New York, Newark,....any many, many other cities all across our country. ABC News reported in 2007 that there were more than two dozen radical clusters of Muslim young men in the Northeast that could lead to terrorist activities that could result in fatalities of American citizens. And that was in 2007, think about how much they may have progressed since then! There have been reports that Islamic terrorist groups have infiltrated Ciudad Juarez, Mexico and are planning attacks against the United States. There is a threat within our borders and to our country, and the threat exists NOW.

It is estimated that there are approximately 100 (or more) American citizens who are now fighting for the radical ISIL Islamic terrorist group in Iraq and Syria. Certainly many of these "Americans" came from the clusters of radicalism within the United States that already exists as identified above.

President Obama by his polices, and the Obama administration, have the citizens of the United States in grave and imminent danger of another severe terrorist attack. His failure, for political purposes, in recognizing, and identifying the problem, and taking strong action to address it is a major threat to the United States and all of our citizens.
