Taking BACK Education in America

Education: What has happened in America, and what the American people must do to take back control.  If you care about your children, pay attention. If you care about America, pay serious attention.

First, it should be clearly stated, there are many very good, wonderful, dedicated teachers in our country. This writing is concerned with the management of education, the administration.

Several decades ago the far left in our country decided that in order to get their ideology installed in our country, that the best way to do it was through our children and the education system.  And this is exactly what they have done...all the way from pre-school  through college. Our children are not only being indoctrinated, but being bombarded by far left ideology; revisionism about the founding of our country; the benefits of socialism over our form of a representative democracy and capitalism; immorality; and much more.

A fundamental if you want to take over "the mind" of a country is to “cut off it’s roots” and that is exactly what they are doing. It is called “revisionist history” where they purposely discredit the Founding heroes and cherished documents like the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution, etc....the total base of our country. Thus our history is bad, the Founding heroes are bad, laws are bad, all something we should be ashamed of. Destroy the cherished documents, the monuments, the statues, destroy everything about the past!  In it's place plant the far left ideology.

Most revealing of all is the absence of God...take God out of the schools based upon a twisted interpretation of the First Amendment, that was never intended, by "prohibiting free exercise thereof" (of religion). Even though America was founded as a primarily Judaeo - Christian nation, the education system not only attempts to remove all traces of God, but holidays such as Christmas, Easter, Hanukkah, and others. They go so far as to disallow long standing traditional songs that have any reference whatsoever to God. Not only is our education system today anti-religion, it is against any show of patriotism such the National Anthem, the U.S. flag, the Pledge of Allegiance, any patriotic clothing, and more. Our children are not allowed to be on the "American Team" this is how sick it has become.

The lead organizations responsible for our corrupt (really evil) education system are the Teachers Unions . They derive their power primarily from dues money from teachers, although I don't think that teachers fully realize what the money is used for. Teachers Unions dominate election spending and give about 95% to Democrats and left leaning causes. The NEA (National Education Association) alone has a budget of over $360 million and spends more money on campaign contributions than Exxon Mobil, Microsoft, Wal-Mart, and the AFL-CIO combined. The NEA and the ATF (American Federation of Teachers) spend over $80 million on election campaigns for candidates, that then become beholding to the Teachers Unions. They also donate hundreds of thousands of dollars to such organizations as Planned Parenthood and other left leaning groups. (Do you Catholic teachers really know where your dues money is going?)

The Teachers Unions are in control of public education in America. Since their objective through curriculums, textbooks, school administrations, school boards, is to control and indoctrinate our children...education itself suffers. There are various reports, but facts show that the American education system in world ranking has fallen dramatically, no surprise since their primary goal IS indoctrination, not education. Inner city education in large cities all across America is a disaster and is one of the prime reasons for continued suppression of minorities and racism in these cities.

The Teachers Unions make sure they have a heavy hand in the selection of school superintendents, principals, administrations, and with their influence over school boards. Politicians have become dependent upon their support, financial and otherwise, so they are very careful not to cross the Teachers Unions. One of the major ways for education to improve and break the hold of Teachers Unions is through school choice and the many excellent private and charter schools across the country...where students not only receive a good, college oriented education, but are taught values and discipline that are absent in most public schools.

THE TEACHERS UNIONS VEHEMENTLY HATE THE COMPETITION OF PRIVATE AND CHARTER SCHOOLS, AND SCHOOL CHOICE, WHERE THEY DON"T HAVE CONTROL OVER CHILDREN'S MINDS. Elected politicians, even though they know that school choice is better, are afraid of the Teachers Unions. This is why little gets done.

Now let's talk about colleges. About 80% to 90% of all college administrators and faculty are left leaning, even VERY far left leaning. Some who are very far left, even out of sight far left, occupy distinguished chairs, some in so called prestigious colleges. Many students who go to college for an education, live in fear, if they don't agree with the professors far left teaching and agenda. They worry about failing grades if they express themselves in class, or in tests, and other writings. Their choice then becomes to go along or fake it in order to receive a passing grade. This is not an isolated situation, but is widespread. One very bright young lady told me her college experience was like "walking on eggs".  A young person's college experience should NOT be this way! It should be an educational, joyous experience. There are, of course, those students who have succumbed to the indoctrination through public schools and fall right in line with the left leaning professors.

While all this is going on, college tuition's have skyrocketed out of control....40, 50, 60, 70 thousand dollars are now commonplace. Colleges seem more intent on building larger and fancier buildings than concentrating on education.  Administration bureaucracy has grown seemingly out of control, as well.

So there you have it...public school through college. Many, many young people, students have been brain washed, indoctrinated, through this far left education system.  You can see the results in society today, they didn't receive an "education", they received an indoctrination. Yet there are some survivors that we can list below:

* Those smart and perceptive enough to see through all this on their own. (Not easy, but possible.)

* Those who have parents, caretakers, families, someone who really cares about them that teaches and instills in them rational thinking, values, and truth.

* Those who were fortunate enough to attend private, charter, Catholic, or other religious based schools. They are much better equipped to deal with left leaning colleges and their agenda.

NOW, Most Important....What Do We Have to Do to Take Back Education in America?

1) We have all been sleeping and have allowed this to happen. Each one of us who is concerned about Education in America, and our children, has to wake up and speak up. Parents / caretakers need to get involved with their children and their schools and know what is going on. Ask questions, if you don't like something speak up and act. Write letters, contact school administrators, go to School Board Meetings and voice your opinion. Write Letters to the Editor in you local newspapers. Get together with others who have similar concerns. In many cases school administrations do not act or change based upon a single voice.

2) If the problem persists, form a Concerned Citizens on Education Group. Always remember that "public" means responsible to the citizens and taxpayers of the community. Get one or more members elected to the School Board. If a Superintendent, Principal, administrator, or teacher is blocking efforts to bring about positive change, act to replace him or her. Believe me, when their job is on the line they act!

3) You may have to get something on the local or state ballot in order to get it into law. Start with your organized group and spread the word with your logical case to get the law passed. Make it law! Take it out of the hands of the corrupt who are ruining children's lives.

4) Support school choice. Competition is a good thing. Right now the Teachers Unions have more or less a monopoly and they do what THEY (not you) want to do and you have little recourse. The facts are private, charter, Catholic, or other religious based schools are generally better. In some cases this is the ONLY way to pull up those in poverty, inner city minorities, and others to succeed in life. Put tremendous pressure on your elected officials for school choice. They get a lot of pressure from Teachers Unions for status quo, they need to hear from YOU.

5) Get involved in a national debate on Education and express your concerns to your state representatives, Governors, Federal representatives, members of Congress. Contact them by letter, phone calls, whatever means available. Let them know how you feel. What is more important than the education of our children?

6) Ahhh the colleges! What we need is affirmative action from the right!  We have laws such as Title IX for women's sports....what we need is a Title R that requires colleges to hire a quota number of those on the right in administrative and teaching positions, to balance off those who are left, and even far left, in most of our colleges today. Enough!  Right now this is a very serious issue. Many parents and caregivers are VERY concerned about sending their children off to college. This should not be in America.
 ------------------------------
Education is a very, VERY serious issue in the United States today. We need to bring our education system to one of learning, where all views are represented in a true educational environment.  Currently it is not. The above 6 Steps will help us get Education BACK.
