Facts, Truth & Accountability Needed on Flu Vaccine

There are very short memories and no apologies for creating a false alarm in regard to the swine flu two years ago. The media headlines read "pandemic", and claimed that millions would die. Irresponsibly in further setting off a panic the media claimed that a young boy who died in Texas was the first case of a swine flu death. Later (and quietly) it was determined that the boy died from another cause. Furthering the panic it was first claimed that no known vaccine was available to prevent the swine flu. This was clearly reported. Then, suddenly and mysteriously, out of nowhere a swine flu vaccine appeared. There then was a push, almost a stampede, to get vaccinated with the new vaccine, with a particular push toward children. What they didn't tell you is that this H1N1 vaccine that seemingly came out of nowhere was manufactured in China.

In 2010, what they also didn't tell you, as reported by the Associated Press in a small paragraph on a back page, is that part of the regular trivalent seasonal flu vaccine contained a leftover component of the Chinese manufactured H1N1 vaccine. It seems that many people, in spite of the panic headlines, were skeptical. Along came the World Health Organization (UN) to help out. Somehow we allowed them to dictate that the trivalent seasonal flu vaccine for North America should contain a component of the leftover Chinese manufactured H1N1 vaccine. This was a part of the regular seasonal flu vaccine in 2010. Also, not reported, is that there were many problems with this vaccine, particularly with the elderly. The Internet was full of reports of complaints by elderly people who were suffering from extreme joint and muscle pain, some so severe that they hardly could walk. In some cases, these conditions lasted for weeks and even months after the flu shot.

In 2010 this writer contacted the Center for Disease Control and clearly asked some basic questions:

1) Was the 2009 H1N1 swine flu vaccine manufactured in China?

2) Did the 2010 regular trivalent seasonal flu vaccine contain a component of the leftover H1N1 Chinese manufactured vaccine?

3) Why is it that the United States and the CDC allows the World Health Organization (the UN) to dictate the composition of the seasonal flu vaccine given to the American people?

Pretty simple questions...huh? What I received from these questions is this big long explanation, that was to me nothing more than gobbley gook, and they didn't answer my basic questions. I went back to them a second time and again asked them to answer my basic questions. No response.

Who knows what is in the 2011 season flu vaccine? The American people need to know. There is a responsibility of the media to dig out the real facts and truth through some good investigative journalism and report this to the people. And, by the way, where is the accountability for the 2009 swine flu pandemic scare??
