Government is Becoming Dangerously Distant From People

It is a fundamental premise, even a truth, that the further the distance the government is from the people, the worse their plight.

In America, instead of having the power of government concentrated at the local level, and with the individual states, more and more of the power is being concentrated at the federal level. This cannot possibly be a good thing and is clearly contrary to our Founding as a country.

It gets even worse. International organizations are now being given more and power and control over people's lives. The International Monetary Fund (IMF) not only demands and takes billions of dollars of taxpayer money, but dictates directions that have a major influence on our economy. This is all done without the clear visibility and approval of the American people. The World Health Organization dictates the composition of vaccines given to the American people. The United Nations continues to assert itself way beyond the bounds of its originally intended purpose. International Courts are now attempting to exert jurisdiction over people, over and above the sovereignty of countries, and the laws that protect their citizens...including those of the United States. Regular meetings are held at the international level, mostly in secret, by what are referred to as the G-8, now G-20. This is in particular offensive to a free and democratic country such as the United States, and contrary to Constitutional principles. Yet it is occurring at an ever increasing pace. Much of it is done without the visibility, involvement, and approval of the American people.

Thus we have a very, very dangerous trend happening right before us. People's lives are being more and more controlled...not by local government, and individual states where people have the most say...but at the federal and international levels where people have little or no say whatsoever. And much of it is being done in secret!

What this all means to the American people is that personal freedoms will be greatly eroded. People's say in government and that which affects their lives will be practically non existent. Freedom and democracy will fall by the wayside. Worse.

The further the distance the people are from the government, the worse their plight. The Founders of our country warned us of this, yet this is exactly what is happening to the United States today. It is a gradual and ever increasing trend that is occurring right before us. All Americans need to speak up and call a halt before it is too late.
