Major Concerns Over 2010 US Census

There is a deep concern over the upcoming US Census for 3 reasons. First, the White House has seized control over the Census, something never intended under our Constitution. Census taking has historically been the responsibility of the Commerce Department and under Title 13 of the US Code has been required to be free from politics. This intention has now been violated. The White House now has the ability to influence congressional redistricting, the allocation of federal funds, and even the composition of the Electoral College. This should NEVER be.

Secondly, now that the Census is being controlled by the White House, the propaganda being fed us at this time is that the 2010 Census should be the easiest since it first started in 1790, saying it will only take about 10 minutes. What they don't tell you is that accompanying the Census is the "American Community Survey" that will be the most intrusive and detailed gathering of information on individuals in our nation's history. It should be shocking to everyone, there should be outrage over the ACS.

Thirdly, the White House has contracted ACORN to assist in the taking of the census count. This is the organization, with close ties to Obama, that has been involved in wide spread voter fraud, as well as other illegal and questionable activities. And they are going to assist in the taking and counting of the Census?

Citizens of the United States are now placed in a dilemma they should not have to face. Congress needs to interject itself, protect the American people, and not allow the 2010 Census to take place in its' present form, under the control of the White House and ACORN.
