Dear Senator Brown:
This is to let you know of my extreme disappointment for your vote in favor of the START Treaty. Instead of allowing time for due consideration with the new Congress you allowed the Obama administration to again rush and ram through legislation under a false banner of end of year urgency...and you fell for it.
Worse, by your vote you allowed Russia to dictate the terms on a treaty that is detrimental to the safety and security of the United States. While we reduce our nuclear capability, Russia has been given an opportunity to increase their strength against us. Any concessions by them are meaningless, since as history has proven...they always cheat and renege on their agreements.
The worst part of this so called "Treaty" is the fact that we have given up our right to defend ourselves!! If nothing else was evident to you about how bad this Treaty is, all logic and common sense are absent on your part... how in the world could you EVER vote to give up our right to self defense?!
By your voting record you are fast becoming the Olympia Snowe of Massachusetts. All of us who worked so hard to get you elected have effectively been spit upon. We will remember you at re-election time.

Truth & Fact: Obamacare a Disaster for Seniors
An Associated Press article was recently carried in newspapers throughout the country on a back page: "Congress postpones cuts to doctors' Medicare payments". This SHOULD have been a front page article since it gets right to the heart of the affect of Obamacare on seniors. It should not be overlooked that in the new national healthcare plan $1/2 trillion will be taken out of Medicare. Among other things what this means is that doctors will receive a 23% pay cut for Medicare expenses. There is little doubt that doctors, in turn, will start refusing new Medicare patients (seniors), and some may eliminate existing ones.
From the start, for those who have theirs eyes, ears, and minds wide open, the path has been as clear as can be. It strains credulity to believe otherwise and not look at the facts. From the very beginning, a chief advisor to President Obama on healthcare, Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, is ON RECORD saying many times that healthcare should be rationed in favor of those "most productive in society". This specifically excludes seniors. This has been followed by Obama, himself, in answer to questions on ABC, where he said that "maybe you're better off not having the surgery, but taking the painkiller." (In reference to the elderly). In another instance he said, "I mean, the chronically ill and those toward the end of their lives are accounting for potentially 80 percent of the total health care bill out here. It is very difficult to imagine the country making those decisions just through the normal political channels. And that’s part of why you have to have some independent group that can give you guidance". All of this is on record and shows the mind set in regard to healthcare for seniors with respect to Obamacare. In effect all of this says...Healthcare for seniors is very expensive, decisions need to be made (by some group), It might be better to give the senior a painkiller than expensive treatment. This is the ONLY conclusion that can be drawn from the facts by any informed and intelligent person. Further, it can be clearly concluded that seniors are increasingly going to find it difficult to even get a doctor to see them!
Yet there is still further proof on the mind set behind Obamacare in regard to seniors.
Not known by many, even those in Congress who voted for it, H.R. 1 (the Recovery and Reinvestment Act, even more commonly known as the Stimulus Bill) contains a whopping $1.1 billion to fund the Federal Coordinating Council for Comparative Effectiveness Research (An obfuscatory title, wouldn't you say?) The Council is the brain child of former Health and Human Services Secretary Nominee Tom Daschle. Betsy McCaughey, former Lieutenant governor of New York, wrote in detail about the Council's purpose, that effectively has the goal is to reduce costs and “guide” your doctor’s decisions, and more. Call this "Council" , this panel, what you will, but if one looks thoroughly and factually into it, there is little question that it is detrimental to seniors...by design! By the way, who do you think is on this "Council"? Ezekiel Emanuel, so you can see right away the thinking that will be prevalent.
Further evidence behind the mind set behind Obamacare was shown by Cass Sunstein, Obama's Regulatory Czar, who wrote in a New York Times op-ed that healthcare rationing (for people) is both moral and good public policy. He believes "government has to lead you by the nose in every facet of life". Sunstein believes that all of your rights exist only because the federal government allows you to have them.
Still further, David Berwick, Obama's appointee to head of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, who will be overseeing implementation of America’s new government-run health care told the Biotechnology Journal in 2009, "The decision is not whether or not we will ration care; the decision is whether we will ration with our eyes open". Earlier he had lamented that America’s current health system was designed to respond to the needs of individual patients, and he said a new health system instead should require patients to prove the value of proposed treatment. Still more he stated costs must be contained, so decisions are made through a "comparative effectiveness" formula, which compares various treatments versus benefits the patient receives. If a treatment costs more than the "quality adjusted life years" merit, treatment is denied. Is there any doubt whatsoever that this will be extremely detrimental to seniors and their healthcare?

Finding Our Own Calcutta
We hear so much today about the closings and struggles of soup kitchens, community centers for the needy, shelters for the homeless, and centers for helping children in our local areas. This should never be. The most immediate and powerful form of charity is that of direct help. This includes needed food, clothing and goods; money donations; volunteer services; and volunteering personal time to help. We should not just sit back and rely upon "the government" or think that some other wealthy people or organizations are going to provide the needed support for these organizations. IT SHOULD COME FROM US...ALL OF US, the everyday people and families of our own areas.
Today, more than ever, our personal help and support are desperately needed. The poor economy has pushed multitudes more into the needy category and these help centers are overwhelmed. Mother Teresa, winner of the Nobel Peace Prize for her charitable work, when asked by people who wanted to help in her work in Calcutta, would say, "Find your own Calcutta. Find the sick, the suffering, the lonely, right there where you are". (Right in your own area.)
Think about what she said. You don't have to go to far off lands...our Calcutta exists right in our own localities. Also think about if each region of our country, and those across the world, reached out to those right in their own areas, what a better world it would be. This does not exclude us from helping others in need in far off places, it simply says, start right at home.
We should NOT ALLOW these needy organizations to struggle, or even the thought of closing when so many today are in need of help. Particularly during this holiday season, we should re-commit ourselves to supporting these direct help organizations, through the very best form of our direct charity.

AARP Betrayed Seniors, Betrayed America
If you can, forget for a moment what political party that you belong to. During the administration of George W. Bush he attempted to do something about Social Security knowing it was headed for sure failure. In 2005 the Wall Street Journal reported that Social Security would go broke by 2041. It may be much sooner than that with our current financial crisis. Whether the Bush plan was the right one or not is not the issue. The point is he tried to do something to avoid the failure. At that time AARP began to show their true colors, they went on an all out attack on Bush's Social Security efforts, even going to the extent of misrepresenting his plan.
This was an alert as to what AARP is all about. Nowhere, however, did AARP raise its' ugly head more than with Obamacare. Before it even became available, without even knowing what was in the plan, AARP gave it full support. When they were criticized for this they began to back off, well, sort of. One of the AARP executives appeared on Fox News and when asked he said that AARP was "neutral" on Obamacare. Yet that very same day if you went to the AARP web site they showed FULL support for Obamacare so effectively, he lied. Remember now, this was even before anybody knew what was in it ...they were offering "blind" support.
AARP is supposed to represent seniors. Yet when a plan was put forth to address Social Security, they vigorously fought off any change. Worse, Obamacare is particularly bad for seniors. First, members of Obama's healthcare advisory team specifically mentioned that expensive healthcare should be given only to those who were "most productive in society". Meaning NOT seniors...effectively rationing healthcare. This is further proven by the fact that the approved Obamacare takes $1/2 trillion from Medicare. Still further proof is that going into effect is a reduction of reimbursement to doctors of Medicare payments by over 20%! What will now happen is that doctors will refuse new (and maybe existing) seniors on Medicare. It will dramatically affect and be detrimental to seniors. Even MORE proof is that Obama appointed David Berwick, backdoor, during on "out of session" period of Congress as Head of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services. Berwick CLEARLY favors rationing. In fact he stated when discussing the British rationing system, " I am romantic about the National Health Service. I love it".
Remember this came about by an organization that is supposed to represent seniors. There is even more, but it is readily evident that AARP is driven by a political agenda...NOT supporting seniors. In fact it is not an understatement to say that AARP HAS BETRAYED SENIORS; AARP HAS BETRAYED AMERICA. If a member, you are urged to rip up your AARP membership cards and discontinue membership immediately.
There are at least two other organizations that TRULY represent seniors...and just as importantly, they are true to America:
Generation America, and
Alliance, for Retirement Prosperity

Time to Review United Nations
The latest outrage concerning the United Nations involves a suspected war criminal who allegedly played a key role in the slaughter of 40,000 civilians in Sri Lanka and has recently landed a cushy job at the UN with full diplomatic immunity. Shavendra Silva, 46, a top ex-military commander, was named Sri Lanka's deputy permanent U.N. representative in August and now resides in New York.
The United States should call for a review of the United Nations, as well as our involvements and commitments as a member of the United Nations. The United Nations is currently out of control, has demonstrated incompetence, is corrupt, and obviously anti-American. There should be no support by the United States for any form of global governance by the United Nations, or any legal or international court jurisdiction over the American people. The United Nations should not be allowed to interfere with the governance or impose any rules or laws affecting the United States. The functions of the United Nations should be limited solely to peace keeping and humanitarian purposes, helping poor and impoverished countries and people throughout the world, and in helping those struck with disasters. The United Nations needs to be limited.
Our sovereignty as a nation is sacred and must be protected at all costs. Under no circumstances should the United States give away our sovereignty as a nation to any international organization, or subject the American people to international courts, or commit financial support without the approval of the American people and Congress. We should be a responsible member of the international community, but not subject to ANY form of international governance other than treaties and agreements, for good reason, as provided for in the US Constitution.

Marijuana MORE Harmful Than Tobacco
During the 1950's, over 50 years ago, teenagers knew that smoking was both addictive and harmful to your health. In recent times it is treated as some new revelation and the tobacco companies have been attacked, with lawsuits and fines totaling hundreds of billions of dollars, and smoking has been banned from many venues. More recently there is a movement to put even more graphic labels on cigarettes..."Warning, Smoking Can Kill You", etc. Although one can argue how far the government needs to control and impose actions, few would argue about the harms of smoking tobacco.
It is extremely hypocritical, however, when it comes to marijuana, where there is a push to make it more legal and accessible. Hypocritical because marijuana is even MORE harmful than tobacco! The medical profession has been relatively silent on this as well as books and literature on the subject...all because it is politically correct to accept marijuana, not criticize it. This in itself is a sad statement.
The effects on most users of marijuana is that they experience an increase in heart rate, redness of the eyes, and dryness of the mouth and throat. Studies show that the drug temporarily impairs short term memory, alters the sense of time, and reduces the ability to perform tasks requiring concentration, swift reactions, and coordination. (Like driving a car or operating machinery.) Feelings of euphoria, relaxation, altered state of body image, and bouts of exaggerated laughter also are commonly reported.
Scientists believe that marijuana can be particularly harmful to lungs through the deep inhalation process. Marijuana smoke has been found to have more cancer causing agents then are found with cigarette smoke. Marijuana can increase heart rate by as much as 50% and can bring on chest pain in some individuals. Many in the medical field feel that people with heart conditions are at a high risk of further heart ailments through the use of marijuana. Findings also suggest that regular use may reduce fertility in women. Further, scientists believe marijuana, which crosses the placental barrier, may have a toxic effect on embryos and fetuses.
Many from personal experience, have sadly witnessed relatives and friends who have used marijuana and other "harmless recreational drugs" that later on in life experience serious medical difficulties such as heart attacks, strokes, kidney failures, and even death. Some at a relatively early age. The point is that the long term effects of these drugs are not known, but you can logically conclude that they won't be positive.
It is not politically correct today to say that marijuana is harmful to people. The sad reality is, however, it is more harmful than smoking tobacco. Yet many states, like Massachusetts, California, and others, are looking to make marijuana more legal and accessible. This is very hypocritical, as well as being illogical.

Mass. Republican Party is Inept
The Following was sent to the "Executive" leadership of the Massachusetts Republican Party. The Letter to the Editor was submitted to the Boston Globe, the Boston Herald, and the Springfield Republican.
What you did in this recent election is unforgivable. FYI, Following is my Letter to the Editor that was submitted to several publications. Until you come down from your elitism, LISTEN to the people of the state, and take on a DRAMATIC new direction and new leadership the Massachusetts Republican Party will be destined for continuing failure. As just one example I had sent a proposal and letters to your Chairman, Jennifer Nassour. I did not even receive the courtesy of a response. Unfortunately this is all too typical and reflects how out of touch that you are.

It was a major failure of the Massachusetts Republican Party not to be able to defeat an unpopular Deval Patrick for governor. In fact the entire state-wide Republican ticket and the nine Congressional challengers lost while Republicans across the nation made huge gains. Charlie Baker was a "hybrid" candidate and did not give the people of the state a clear and distinct choice. He stated that he was "to the left of Obama on social issues" and then campaigned that way as a "Republican"! In addition to that, there were serious questions about his past involvement with the Big Dig financing plan, as well his involvement with the healthcare insurance industry.

The mood of the nation was also crying for a change and it did happen throughout the country in the recent elections. Not in Massachusetts. Primarily due to the ineptness of the Massachusetts Republican Party who sit in isolation in their ivory tower in Boston, the state remains in the quagmire of a one party state. Until there is a dramatic change in both the direction and leadership of the Massachusetts Republican Party the state is destined to remain a one party state.

Federal Government Caused Financial Crisis in America
The federal government caused the financial crisis in America. It wasn't Wall Street, financial and banking institutions, the car industry, the insurance industry, or big business...it was primarily driven by the federal government.
It started with The Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) that was enacted during the Carter administration. Like so many government programs the purpose of it sounded good, to support lower income people in purchasing homes, but it turned out to be anything but. Many of us have experienced living in rented housing or in humble homes, because that was what we could afford. Looking back that was a very happy and comfortable environment. But that wasn't good enough for the federal government. The CRA got a major push during the Clinton administration and this continued into the Bush administration. What this amounted to was that the federal government wanted to push low income people into expensive homes with no rational formula of affordability involved.
At one time a simple formula was used by lending institutions based upon income. This went out the window. Extreme pressure and false guarantees were given by the federal government and the government sponsored enterprises, Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac. These institutions have been riddled with corruption, political paybacks, executive pay scandals, and more...and they are one of the prime reasons behind the current failure of our economy. The leadership over them by Congressman Barney Frank and Senator Chris Dodd was incompetent, deceitful, if not criminal. They are both on record in guaranteeing the solvency of these institutions when just the opposite was true.
No one looked at the fact that you don't help low income people by convincing them to buy expensive homes that they can't afford only to lead them and their families into the misery of financial failure and foreclosure. What we must do:
The Community Reinvestment Act should be repealed. The federal government should set up guidelines (not control) for responsible lending under affordable conditions, not those destined for sure failure.
Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae should be eliminated as federal government sponsored enterprises. Mortgage, banking, and acting as an intermediary on mortgages, lending, etc. should cease. Banking, lending, and mortgage functions should be private, not government controlled. Cut out the cancer.
There should be an investigation into the deceitful leadership of Congressman Barney Frank and Senator Chris Dodd who purposely misled the American people resulting in our current financial crisis.
It is time to bring America back to basic financial discipline and sanity, and rid ourselves of corrupt leadership.
It started with The Community Reinvestment Act (CRA) that was enacted during the Carter administration. Like so many government programs the purpose of it sounded good, to support lower income people in purchasing homes, but it turned out to be anything but. Many of us have experienced living in rented housing or in humble homes, because that was what we could afford. Looking back that was a very happy and comfortable environment. But that wasn't good enough for the federal government. The CRA got a major push during the Clinton administration and this continued into the Bush administration. What this amounted to was that the federal government wanted to push low income people into expensive homes with no rational formula of affordability involved.
At one time a simple formula was used by lending institutions based upon income. This went out the window. Extreme pressure and false guarantees were given by the federal government and the government sponsored enterprises, Fannie Mae, and Freddie Mac. These institutions have been riddled with corruption, political paybacks, executive pay scandals, and more...and they are one of the prime reasons behind the current failure of our economy. The leadership over them by Congressman Barney Frank and Senator Chris Dodd was incompetent, deceitful, if not criminal. They are both on record in guaranteeing the solvency of these institutions when just the opposite was true.

Creation by GOD Re-Established in America
In the United States, as across the world, we have allowed ourselves to be denied a fundamental truth - that the universe and humanity have been created by God. In the sacred scriptures of the Jewish Torah, as well as the Christian Old Testament, the sections on Genesis describe the divine creation of the universe and humanity. We have allowed this to happen even though approximately 77.4% of our nation identifies ourselves as Christians or Jews. It is unconscionable that we have allowed this to happen to our faith.
What we have allowed to happen is to let a theory and a book published in 1859, "On the Origin of Species", by Charles Darwin, to replace the belief of creation by God, by a theory of "evolution". Some call it "scientific" but it fails the tests of scientific completion and proof. There is no doubt that humans and other species have evolved to a degree due to such things as nutrition, climate, and environment. But to say that humans today evolved over millions of years from a one celled organism is more than a bit of a stretch.How anybody can look at a loved one, a baby, a child, and not realize that the Creator...God...had something to do with this person is beyond comprehension. The human person is absolutely amazing with our physical and psychological makeup and how we function as humans. If we take just one example, eyesight, how it operates psychophysically starting with a magnificent optical instrument, our eye, and then how the eye interacts with our brain to give us vision and even more than that...a related thought process based upon what is seen. This alone is absolutely amazing. This can be applied to all functions of the body and humans; a perfect design that could only have been given to us by God. Then you combine all this with the human ability to think and reason, to have feelings and emotions, and most of all...to love. To suggest that all of this "evolved" from a one cell organism is totally absurd.
One has to look at the reason why evolution has been thrust, even forced upon us vs. creation. Creation is based upon God. For those that are awake about what is happening in the United States (and across the world), there has been a steady attempt to remove God from all aspects of American life. It begins with a distortion and purposeful misrepresentation of our history, our Founding as a nation, and our Constitution. You should note the word tricks used by those who oppose creation. God is too powerful of a word, so they prefer a more beatable "opponent". So in nearly all discussion today they have substituted "intelligent design" for the word God. Have you noticed this trick? This proof would be in the form of fossils showing the various stages of human development. In fact, Darwin himself realized this when he predicted that the fossil record would either prove or falsify his theory. Darwin realized the difficulty the fossil record (missing links) gave his theory when he said, "Why, if species have descended from other species by fine graduation, do we not everywhere see innumerable transitional forms? Guess what? To the consternation of "Darwinists" there is no continuum of fossil history! Oh you will get a media report once in awhile where an animal or bird fossil remains are discovered from hundreds or thousands of years back and they somehow try to claim that a claw looks like a hand...and say...."see that...proof of evolution"! Unbelievably many fall for it.
Many scientists have admitted the lack of proof, albeit some very reluctantly. This is just a small sampling:

The tragedy is that we have forced Darwinism into all textbooks and teaching in schools and colleges in the United States at the exclusion of creation! Further, people who even bring up the alternative of creation are ridiculed, insulted, called stupid, and every name in the book. This is the tact that is used when you try to bring out facts and truth vs. what is politically correct (and scientifically incorrect). We should never allow this to happen. Where are 77.4% Christians and Jews? Where are the rest of Americans who believe in truth, fact, and real provable science?
A number of years ago BOTH creation and evolution were in textbooks and discussed in schools as alternative theories on how our universe and humankind came about. Nothing was forced, students were allowed to make up their own minds on what to believe or not believe. This is called education.
We need to bring back true education in America and not allow a single, unproven theory of evolution to be shoved down our throats. We need to bring back the possibility....actually more than the possibility....that the universe and humankind was created by God. Don't let them do what they are currently doing to us and our children. The real reason behind pushing evolution is that it eliminates God. Think about it.

The Case for Voting Yes on Ballots 1 & 2 in Massachusetts
Not only the administration of Governor, Deval Patrick, but BOTH parties of the Massachusetts Legislature are irresponsible in managing our state's finances. To begin with, according to the Massachusetts Budget and Policy Center, in fiscal year 2011 the state budget is dependent upon a whopping $9.02 billion of federal money, or nearly 32% of the states $28.4 billion budget! First and foremost this shows how Massachusetts is hooked on the "drug" of federal money, from a bankrupt federal government that is in the deepest debt in history. Obviously this is a formula headed for financial collapse.
Even with this massive amount of federal money, the fiscal year budget started out with a $2.7 billion shortfall that sent Deval Patrick and the Legislature scrambling on what to do. Still further, this by no means is the end of the financial crisis in Massachusetts. As we go forward into the fiscal year it will be discovered that there will be an income / revenue shortfall due to unrealistic budgeting. This includes unplanned shortfalls through the obvious economy affects of unemployment, people leaving the state, people shopping in other states due to increase in taxes, business sales and profit decreases, and even business closings in the state. This will all lead to a major decrease in the expected budget revenue.
There has been a failure to manage our states finances and each year we seem to get further into the depths of "budget fraud", i.e. a budget that is sold to the citizens of the state that is knowingly unrealistic. What needs to be done is create a total shock to the system that will cause responsible financial management and budgeting of our state. This calls for a situation that is devoid of the dependency on federal money, a significant cut in costs and the state's bureaucracy, the elimination of corruption, and a realistic and balanced budget.
It is not out of the question to suggest that 50% of the state's government bureaucracy should be cut. What currently exists is duplication of state functions; political favoritism appointments; nepotism; and a system of early retirement of state employees at a young age only to be hired or appointed to still another state job (double dipping). There needs to be an attack on corruption that has been rampant, particularly with state sponsored construction jobs. The Big Dig, for example, was the "mother of all corruption jobs". There are many more where work is given out for unnecessary projects, or projects that are milked for all they are worth. Welfare fraud and related give-away's are also big in Massachusetts. The point is that there are plenty of areas where costs can be cut if the Governor and Legislature have the guts to do their jobs.
We are now confronted with two ballot questions, one concerning the elimination of sales tax on alcoholic beverages (there already is a state excise tax); the other lowering the sales and use tax from 6.25% to 3%. Many will say it is irrational to cut this revenue from the state for obvious reasons. Already there is a "go for the jugular" threat by some from the state warning that, as they always do, that this will mean cutbacks to schools, to police and fireman...all those things that the citizens recognize and depend upon...this is always their threat and many back off with this ploy. You will note that few representing state government will suggest cutbacks in spending as outlined above, actually having the guts to manage our state's finances.
It is suggested that people vote Yes on both Ballot Questions 1 and 2. The reason is we DO need to shock the system and create a financial crisis that will cause our Legislature to do their job and manage our state's finances. We also need to be very diligent and NOT ALLOW them to do their typically vindictive tact of using our schools and necessary services as their out for not doing their job. We need to force them to cut the state bureaucracy and corruption, and reduce costs in all other areas. It takes guts. That is why we elect them.

Outrage Over Preventing Military Votes
The American people should not allow the election of any local, state, or federal official to be confirmed until every single ballot of overseas military personnel, who wants to vote, is counted. Right now we have shenanigans going on with their precious right to vote. This appears to be the case in Illinois, Wisconsin, Colorado, Maryland, Washington, and a total of 10 states, maybe more. The law requires every state to mail their absentee ballots 45 days prior to Election Day to overseas troops who want to vote from abroad. In all cases the problem is with the states failing to issue overseas ballots in a timely fashion, NOT with military personnel responding with their ballots.
It would be a sacrilege of the worst kind to deny our military personnel their right to vote, those who put their lives on the line every single day for America. It is unbelievable and an outrage that this situation has been allowed to occur. There should be further outrage by all Americans that this is most probably done on purpose, as still another attempt to bias the elections throughout our country.
Where is Congress on this outrage? Where is the Obama administration? Where is the Justice Department? Where is the media on this? All should be shouting from the rooftops.

Tea Parties - The Unexpected
The far left has had a plan for some time and they have been working toward their first major goal of having America become a socialist country. Europe is already well on their way. With the election of Barack Obama and a Democratic Congress a perfect storm was created for their dream to become a reality. The traditional Democratic party had already been taken over by the far left. The Republican Party had lost it's strength through a diffusion and lowering of their values, so they would not be able to stop it. At breakneck speed they began to implement steps that would drive America into the depths of socialism and globalism. The feeling was that the American people, even if they complained and were opposed to what was going on, were not organized enough to stop the movement. But then something unexpected happened.
The will, the strength, and the voice of the American people were grossly underestimated. Suddenly ordinary Americans, many of whom never participated in any political movement before, began to rise up. A true groundswell, and grassroots movement, began to emerge. And emerge they did. They were senior citizens, grandparents, and parents, deeply concerned not only about themselves, but the future of America for their children and grandchildren. They were conservative Republicans, traditional Democrats, Libertarians, and Independents who were strongly opposed to the new socialist direction. Scared to death of it, in fact. They were informed younger people, and minorities who think for themselves and object to adhering to mass block thinking where it is "expected" that they will just comply. They were people who have a deep faith in God. They were people who are patriots and love America. They are veterans who had served their country and who had fought to preserve freedom. Spontaneously they came together. Millions upon millions of them. They came together under the title of "Tea Party".
The left was flabbergasted, they hadn't planned or expected anything like this. They were so close to achieving their goal. At all costs the Tea Party had to be stopped. Immediately they began to try to discredit the Tea Parties, a tact that had worked for them so many times before. Truth is irrelevant, but discredit they must. They began to call them crazy, radicals, Nazi's, every name in the book...and finally the one that always seemed to have worked before...racists. Many major media sources fully complied with the unfounded and unwarranted attacks. Yet the Tea Parties kept coming, without a flinch. What the far left and the media failed to realize is that Tea Party IS America...the vast majority of the American people. You can't turn the vast majority of the American people on themselves, especially with what are KNOWN to be falsehoods. The far left then engaged union leadership, and organizations like the NAACP to help discredit the Tea Party movement, call them racists, etc. Again this didn't work to say nothing about violating the 9th Commandment of God by bearing false witness. Many of the good and decent people of the NAACP don't like being part of false accusations. Neither do the union MEMBERSHIP, in fact many of them are either in agreement with the Tea Party movement, if not actual members.
Nonetheless the great strength of the administration in power, with the help of nearly all major media sources is immense. In addition, over time, deep seated roots have been established by the far left into many organizations throughout the country. Further, there are some very wealthy backers who have their own agenda toward turning the United States into a greatly weakened, yet socialist country that will allow globalism to continue.
The future of United States is now dependent upon the people of America. This includes all those who want to preserve our great democracy irrespective of party affiliation, race, religion, ethnic, or any other socio, political, or economic group. And it depends greatly, as the far left fears, on the Tea Party since they have the strength of organization.
All of this comes down to two dates..November 2010 and...November 2012 and our sacred right to vote. The choices are simple yet dramatic and potentially tragic in our history: socialism that will lead to the destruction of America as we know it.....or the preservation of our great country and democracy. Thankfully the Tea Party movement has given us at least a choice, now it is up to us.
The will, the strength, and the voice of the American people were grossly underestimated. Suddenly ordinary Americans, many of whom never participated in any political movement before, began to rise up. A true groundswell, and grassroots movement, began to emerge. And emerge they did. They were senior citizens, grandparents, and parents, deeply concerned not only about themselves, but the future of America for their children and grandchildren. They were conservative Republicans, traditional Democrats, Libertarians, and Independents who were strongly opposed to the new socialist direction. Scared to death of it, in fact. They were informed younger people, and minorities who think for themselves and object to adhering to mass block thinking where it is "expected" that they will just comply. They were people who have a deep faith in God. They were people who are patriots and love America. They are veterans who had served their country and who had fought to preserve freedom. Spontaneously they came together. Millions upon millions of them. They came together under the title of "Tea Party".
The left was flabbergasted, they hadn't planned or expected anything like this. They were so close to achieving their goal. At all costs the Tea Party had to be stopped. Immediately they began to try to discredit the Tea Parties, a tact that had worked for them so many times before. Truth is irrelevant, but discredit they must. They began to call them crazy, radicals, Nazi's, every name in the book...and finally the one that always seemed to have worked before...racists. Many major media sources fully complied with the unfounded and unwarranted attacks. Yet the Tea Parties kept coming, without a flinch. What the far left and the media failed to realize is that Tea Party IS America...the vast majority of the American people. You can't turn the vast majority of the American people on themselves, especially with what are KNOWN to be falsehoods. The far left then engaged union leadership, and organizations like the NAACP to help discredit the Tea Party movement, call them racists, etc. Again this didn't work to say nothing about violating the 9th Commandment of God by bearing false witness. Many of the good and decent people of the NAACP don't like being part of false accusations. Neither do the union MEMBERSHIP, in fact many of them are either in agreement with the Tea Party movement, if not actual members.
Nonetheless the great strength of the administration in power, with the help of nearly all major media sources is immense. In addition, over time, deep seated roots have been established by the far left into many organizations throughout the country. Further, there are some very wealthy backers who have their own agenda toward turning the United States into a greatly weakened, yet socialist country that will allow globalism to continue.
The future of United States is now dependent upon the people of America. This includes all those who want to preserve our great democracy irrespective of party affiliation, race, religion, ethnic, or any other socio, political, or economic group. And it depends greatly, as the far left fears, on the Tea Party since they have the strength of organization.
All of this comes down to two dates..November 2010 and...November 2012 and our sacred right to vote. Socialism - The Worst Form of Slavery
Socialism is the worst and most insidious form of slavery. It starts with "sound good" words and catch phrases that attempt to fool people and allow them to be led. Such words as "public ownership of property" misleads people into thinking that THEY will own the property. Nothing could be further from the truth. In reality GOVERNMENT ends up owning the property, not the people. Another one is "distribution of wealth" that leads people to believe they will be given more wealth, more money. Again this is false, albeit a few crumbs, what actually happens is the GOVERNMENT acquires the wealth, taking it from people who have worked hard to earn it, and from those who have succeeded in life. They then dole some of it out as THEY choose. In Europe, socialism was sold by calling it "democratic socialism" making it appear more palatable to people since they believed that it was still democracy, so it must be all right. Again a play on words. Yet socialism by any other name is still socialism.
What always happens with socialism is that there is an insidious, gradual, and ever increasing control by the central government. Personal freedoms begin to disappear. The central government begins to control nearly all aspects of people's lives. Oh, people are "taken care of" but at some lower form of existence of life. At the same time a ruling elite begins to emerge. Personal excellence, creativity, individuality, and the ability of a person to succeed and become substantially better in life are squashed. Then the danger comes.
Eventually people do not like being squashed and controlled at some lower form of existence and will begin to rebel against socialism. The ruling elite at that point will get stronger in their enforcement of THEIR laws and rules. Those who resist are punished, and at some point even jailed. Violence by the central government may even occur, if not outright murder and executions in order to keep people in control. The elite once they gain total power and control are not going to give it up. At this point the people become the slaves of the central government, and of the elite. It is the worst form of oppressive slavery.
A person who lived under socialism recently warned us: "Remember people and this comes from someone that has lived under both the communists and the socialists. The Federal Lords have made plenty of provisions for themselves, their children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. It is the same everywhere they set their boot. They live in the best houses stolen from millionaires forced to leave their countries, they import food, they travel in luxury in their private planes while their countries suffer and starve, laughing at the imbeciles that keep them in power. I have heard them say, why do you worry they are just stupid insects, come and join us you will live well. I swear that they sound like demons from the worst horror film." This from a person who lived under this form of oppressive government. History has taught us, without exception, that this is what to expect.
The time to cut off socialism is in the early stages. Once it begins to gain a foothold it advances at breakneck speed and the people are brought under its slave-like control before they know what hit them. It has happened in Europe, and it is now happening in America. You are strongly urged not to ignore the warning signs.
We have two last chances to avoid becoming "slaves' of our government and losing all of our freedoms and our great democracy. November 2010. November 2012. Your votes are sacred, more than you will ever realize. Use your sacred vote wisely, before it is too late.

Saving Lives vs. Taking Lives
In the last few days we have seen the beautiful people of Chile and the near miraculous saving of the 33 lives of miners that were trapped half a mile underground for 69 days. We saw the love, tears, and happiness of loved ones and families. We witnessed their deep faith in God, from the trapped miners themselves, their families, and from Chile's President Sebastian Piriera. Mario Gomez, who at 63 was the oldest trapped miner hugged his wife and then dropped to his knees in thankful prayer. Relatives hugged, kissed and thanked God. The constant theme, in fact, was God, love, family, and the great joy that was experienced worldwide in the saving and preservation of life.
Contrast this to where on a daily basis we are confronted with news of the clear absence of God in the taking of innocent lives. No legitimate religion, and certainly not God, would sanction the taking of innocent lives. Yet we have young men, and even occasionally young women, blowing themselves to bits while at the same time murdering innocent men, women and children. We have acid thrown into the faces of young school girls. We have fathers murdering daughters, women in the Sudan raped, murdered and mutilated. We have news reporters seeking the truth; and people who are attempting to help the suffering and those in need; murdered and beheaded. South of our border we have drug cartels and human traffickers brutally murdering innocent citizens, young children, mayors, news reporters, police officers, and military personnel who are attempting to bring law, order, and peace. Again, the absence of God.
Imagine, worldwide at every airport, extensive security and screening has to be used in order to prevent bombings that would take innocent lives. How far has humanity deteriorated? People on buses, railways, at cafes...even at weddings and funerals are murdered indiscriminately. Rockets and missiles are lobbed into civilian populations. How far has humanity deteriorated? Trillions of dollars that could be used for the relief of human suffering and for humanitarian purposes are wasted worldwide for security purposes that should never be necessary. How far has humanity deteriorated?
Yet, if all peace loving nations of the world came together, all this could be brought to an end. First there has to be the underlying presence of God. Without exception, in the absence of God evil forms. And this is what we have going on in our world today. The result is what we now see.
There has to be a coming together of all nations on the basics of life itself, and that starts with God, family, and love. If this happened all the evil we see in the world today would disappear.

One Nation March - A Dangerous Direction
Not too long ago the United States was engaged in a Cold War where communism and Marxism were considered evil. They still are. Yet the new far left of the Democratic Party, and organizations like the NAACP, major labor unions, and the American Federation of Teachers, stood shoulder to shoulder with communist, Marxist, and socialist organizations at the One Nation March in Washington on October 2. This march also had the blessing of the Obama administration. Does this not concern anybody? Has our once great country deteriorated that far?
The NAACP was once considered one of the most prestigious and honorable organizations in our country. Yet recently they have, apparently, received their marching orders from the Obama administration and have accused the Tea Party movement as being racist, when all aware and clear thinking people know that is not true. In fact it can be stated that for political purposes, the NAACP is bearing false witness. Yet after accusing Tea Parties as being racist, they apparently have no problem standing side by side with communists and Marxists. Does this not concern rank and file NAACP members?
The American Federation of Teachers, an organization supposedly dedicated to education and teachers, seems to have dramatically taken on a different political and ideological role. In fact since 1998 98% of their donations, approximately $25 million, have been donated to the Democratic Party and other far left causes that have little to do with education. Does this not concern teachers throughout our country that their union dues are being used for this purpose? Does this not concern them that their union stood side by side with communists and Marxists on October 2?
The same questions should be asked of the many good rank and file Democrats and union members. Standing shoulder to shoulder with communists and Marxists? Do people really know what these ideologies really stand for and how oppressed people have been when ruled by them? History should be a lesson.

The Right to Fly a Christian Flag
Thousands of references to God by our Founders prove that the original intent was to keep God as foundational to our great country. This does not mean that our government should be run by "The Church". What it means is that we recognize and accept that God as being important to our very existence as a country. People who have different views, atheists, etc. should be respected in their views, but we should never give up our belief that God is important to the existence of our nation out of deference to a minority opinion that is contrary to our Founding.
There has been a total distortion of the First Amendment under the words "separation of church and state", words that don't even appear in the Constitution! Statements made by Thomas Jefferson in a letter to Danbury, CT Baptists in 1802 referring to "a wall of separation between Church & State" have been distorted and misused in attempts to eliminate all reference to God in our country, and to restrict religion.
What we actually have occurring is a violation of the First Amendment by "prohibiting the free exercise thereof" of religion in our country today. This needs to stop. This is precisely the case in King, North Carolina. The people of King should know that the vast majority of Americans stand shoulder to shoulder with them in their right to fly a Christian flag. America has been awakened and we will no longer allow groups like the ACLU to run roughshod over our religious rights, and to remove the importance of God to our country. Stand firm, King, ask for help and you will get it.

A Reality - Our Freedoms ARE at Risk
We have all heard about the threat of losing our freedoms in America. Our worst fears are now being realized. On August 25, 2010, a meeting was held by the Obama administration through Eric Holder's Justice Department with Planned Parenthood, the National Abortion Federation, and the Feminist Majority Foundation. The main focus of the meeting was directed towards declaring the free speech activities of pro-life Americans as "violent". This meeting took place at the FBI headquarters in Portland, Oregon.
The Obama administration provided participants with an 84 page document entitled "Resource Guide: Violence Against Reproductive Health Care Providers". The so-called "violence" contained examples of peaceful protesting, constitutionally protected (until now) free speech, praying and offering women outside abortion clinics alternatives (choices) vs. having an abortion. Stop for a moment and think about this! This is being called "violence" in America?!
In the Obama administration document, on pages 39-41, they sepcifically list the names of pro-life organizations and web sites sponsored by peaceful nonviolent groups. Some of the organizations named in the FBI seminar materials include 40 Days for Life, the American Center for Law & Justice, Concerned Women for America, National Right to Life, Priests for Life, and Students for Life of America.
Some of the things, unbelievably, associated with "violence" include peaceful picketing, the use of anti-abortion posters, boycotts against abortion providers, publishing pro-life articles on the Internet, and handing out leaflets. Equally alarming is the encouragement for gathering databases on pro-life individuals and organizations that include names, license plates, and photos.
If all of this is shocking enough coming from the Obama administration, what should be particularly shocking is that this is coming through the Justice Department. The Justice Department!
Last year, Department of Homeland Security, Janet Napolitano, included pro-lifers in a report on "domestic terrorism". Just to show that this is much more than just talk, in February 2009, a man in Oklahoma with a pro-life sign on his vehicle was pulled over and harassed by police for allegedly making a threat against the president. Someone needs to explain how a pro-life sign translates to a threat against the president.

The Plan to Save America
*Place term limits on members of Congress. Twelve years for senators, 10 years for congressmen / congresswomen.
*Enact a law, an amendment, that would require the federal government to operate from a balanced, no deficit, budget with no legislative exceptions. Every year.
*Strictly enforce separation of powers between the executive, legislative, and judicial branches of government. In particular, prevent the executive and judicial branches of government from creating laws.
*Re-enforce, require, Congress and the Executive Branch of the federal government to pass no law, and take no action, in violation of the Constitution.
*Allow only elected representatives, Constitutionally specified appointments, and Congressionally approved persons to run our national government. This means no Czars or similar types of appointments that serve only to circumvent the process and have access to significant power outside of the specified realm of scrutiny and approval.
*Elected and appointed representatives at the federal level of government, who use their elected or appointed positions to engage in illegal activities should receive a mandatory minimum sentence of 10 years in prison. Those elected representatives who use their positions for illegal activities violate a sacred trust. America is in a sad state with rampant corruption and dishonesty by many in elected office. We need to restore honesty and high integrity in elected and appointed leadership.
*All proposed federal legislation should be required to be no more than 200 pages in length and should be singular in purpose...addressing only that subject that is proposed and directly related issues, with NO add-ons, pork, riders, earmarks, political paybacks, etc. NONE. The legislation should be required to be written in clear, non legal, understandable language. Legislators should be required to read all proposed legislation prior to their vote. The legislation should be required to be posted for the general public on the internet, or other means of mass communication, newspapers, etc. one week prior to the vote on the bill.
*We should re-commit ourselves to the principles of our Founding as a nation, the Declaration of Independence, and our Constitution. We should recognize that we are a representative democracy, with a free market system that made us the great nation that we are. We should stop all attempts to re-form us in some other dramatic way, in particular those ideologies that have been proven over and over to be historical failures.
*Legislation needs to be passed strictly limiting the amount of money given and influence upon Congress and the political parties by Political Action Committees (PACs). There is little doubt that currently illegal contributions are being made to candidates, those in office, and to political parties through money laundering, underhanded, and disguised methods. These illegal contributions to push ideologies, or gain influence, need to be shut down.
*Begin to immediately reduce the national debt, incrementally, over 10 years, so that it will be no greater than $5 trillion by 2021, and keep it under $5 trillion. (Even with inflation.) A law should be passed that dictates that our national debt will be no higher than $5 trillion.
*Implement a simple percentage based income tax, starting with income $20,000 and over. If less than $20,000, no tax would be due. For example, if it were 10%, a person making $25,000 would pay $2,500. A person making $200,000 a year would pay $20,000 in taxes. A person making $2,000,000 would pay $200,000 in taxes. There would be no deductions allowed except those toward charities / organizations that clearly and verifiably help people in need. Otherwise it would be just a simple percentage calculation based on gross income. Any person, without outside assistance, should be able to understand and file income tax accordingly.
*Eliminate the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) and all the associated bureaucracy.
*The Federal Reserve Bank should be audited. The FED has too great, and somewhat of an invisible influence on the American economy and America itself. All of their activities, directions, policies, plans, etc. should be completely visible to the American people with periodic audits. Even the elimination of the Federal Reserve Bank should be considered.
*Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae should be eliminated as federal government sponsored enterprises. Mortgage, banking, and acting as an intermediary on mortgages, lending, etc. should cease. These institutions have been riddled with corruption, political paybacks, executive pay scandals, and more...and they are one of the prime reasons behind the current failure of our economy. Banking, lending, and mortgage functions should be private, not government controlled. Cut out the cancer.
*Establish new rules of international trade where America benefits equally in trading that occurs. Currently there is a major imbalance detrimental to America. This needs to change immediately.
*Bring back manufacturing to America. Offer incentives to American companies to manufacture in the United States. Recognize that manufacturing is a core strength of America and is vital for jobs and our economy. No single move can help our economy more than to re-build the manufacturing strength of America.
*Repeal immediately the national health care bill, H.R. 3962, the Affordable Health Care for America Act. Return to our previous excellent health care system and enact incremental steps necessary to improve it as required. Addressing the problem areas while keeping the excellence of the American healthcare system should have been the path taken. We need to immediately address this the right way. It is critical that this healthcare bill be repealed as soon as possible. It is a far reaching cancer that will help to destroy our economy, our freedoms, and the health and well being of all Americans.
*The Community Reinvestment Act should be repealed. The federal government should set up guidelines (not control) for responsible lending under affordable conditions, not those destined for sure failure. Working low income people and those in need should have access to lower interest rate loans, but still within the realm of their affordability to repay these loans. In other words, don't lower the standards where people will obviously default due to lack of affordability, lower interest rates should still maintain the financial integrity of the lending institutions, as well as limiting such loans where they are the exception, not the rule.
*We should cut federal bureaucracy by 50% by a review of all major departments of government. In fact, it would not be out of the question to cut 2/3 of the federal bureaucracy. In some cases entire major departments of government should be eliminated. The IRS is just one example of this as already covered in this plan. What we currently have is an inefficient, massive, federal bureaucracy that is ever growing. It has tentacles spreading deeply across the government and unnecessarily into the life of every American costing us billions, upon billions of dollars. This move alone would significantly reduce our national debt and our ongoing budget deficits.
*Nearly all 50 states are, essentially, bankrupt dependent upon the "drug" of federal government money. Fiscal responsibility must be demanded from the bottom up... starting with cities and towns, then the states, then the federal government. ALL should work with affordable and balanced budgets. Excessive taxes, fees, and unnecessary financial burdens due to poor fiscal management should be removed from individuals, families, and businesses.
*While staying within the framework of the Constitution, the current over control at the federal level must be reversed. Power must be given back to the 50 states, then in turn, to the people through their voice, their vote, and their elected representation.
*The United States should embark immediately on the path of energy independence and cease our dependency upon foreign oil. The path to achieve this should include conservation, seeking alternate sources of energy such as natural gas, solar energy, wind generated energy, hydroelectric power, and responsible nuclear power, environmentally responsible coal energy...as well as new technology sources. In addition, we should tap responsibly into the VAST amounts of oil readily available to us within our borders and off shore. The goal should be to reach energy independence within 10 years. We need the leadership and a national commitment to achieve this. It is extremely doable to accomplish this.
*Under no circumstances should the federal government give away billions of taxpayer dollars, or commit our financial future and/or sovereignty to international organizations such as the International Monetary Fund, the G-20, the United Nations, etc. Currently this is being done without the approval of the American people...and even Congress! It needs to stop immediately.
*Our sovereignty as a nation is sacred and must be protected at all costs. Under no circumstances should the United States give away our sovereignty as a nation to any international organization, or subject the American people to international courts, or commit financial support without the approval of the American people and Congress. We should be a responsible member of the international community, but not subject to ANY form of international governance other than treaties and agreements, for good reason, as provided for in the US Constitution.
*The United States should call for a review of the United Nations, as well as our involvements and commitments as a member of the United Nations. The United Nations is currently out of control, has demonstrated incompetence, is corrupt, and obviously anti-American. There should be no support by the United States for any form of global governance by the United Nations, or any legal or international court jurisdiction over the American people. The United Nations should not be allowed to interfere with the governance or impose any rules or laws affecting the United States. The functions of the United Nations should be limited solely to peace keeping and humanitarian purposes, helping poor and impoverished countries and people throughout the world, and in helping those struck with disasters. Limit the United Nations.
*We should re-commit ourselves to being a nation under God. Thousands of references by our Founders prove that this was the original intent. This does not mean that our government should be run by "The Church". What it means is that we recognize and accept that God as being important to our very existence as a country and that we keep God as being foundational. People who have different views, atheists, etc. should be respected in their views, but we should never give up our belief that God is important to the existence of our nation out of deference to a minority opinion that is contrary to our Founding. There has been a total distortion of the First Amendment under the words "separation of church and state", words that don't even appear in the Constitution! Statements made by Thomas Jefferson in a letter to Danbury, CT Baptists in 1802 referring to "a wall of separation between Church & State" have been distorted and misused in attempts to eliminate all reference to God in our country, and to restrict religion. What we actually have occurring is a violation of the First Amendment by "prohibiting the free exercise thereof" of religion in our country today. This needs to stop. If there should be any worry, it should be the State imposing on religion, not the Church imposing on our government. Nothing is more important than recognizing God as being foundational to our country.
*The indoctrination now occurring in public schools should stop immediately, including textbooks used that have an ideologically driven rather than an educational purpose. There should be a return to only the basics of scholastic learning...science, math, language and grammar, factual history, etc. etc. When there is an issue in dispute, both sides should be presented equally...example: creation vs. evolution....not one driven as the only answer, with the other disallowed, excluded. This includes every level of education from early grade school through colleges. Administrations and faculties should be looked at critically so that there is a near equal representations of ideologies, or political party preference present. The role of parents has to be emphasized, in some school districts there are direct attempts to usurp the rights of parents. This must stop.
Following this issue, teachers should be made fully aware of the fact that their union dues have been used for the following:

* The following should be done with immigration:
1) Secure the border, complete building the fence across all border states. Send 20,000 troops to begin with, adjust number as needed. Use our highest technology to keep borders non porous.
2) Require ALL illegal immigrants to register so we know who they are, where they are, and their purpose for being in America. Deport those who have criminal records or outstanding warrants. For those who have jobs require them to have work permits. For those already here and in good standing, provide a fast track process toward citizenship, if desired, but NOT automatic amnesty and citizenship. Require periodic reporting of status of all non citizens.
3) New people entering the country would have to go through a border secure process of entering the country and would have to follow all laws in place on immigration, obtaining visas, etc. like any other visitor to our country.
4) Employers will be required to hire ONLY those workers who have work permits or who are citizens of our country. Failure to do so will result in SEVERE penalty, fines, and even jail / prison time for violating the law.
5) Use the full resources of America to shut down drug, arms, and human trafficking across our borders. Give the criminals a strong message that this will no longer be tolerated.
6) The Fourteenth Amendment, that states “All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside” needs to be clarified and amended to prevent the abuse that is now occurring en masse. Currently we have illegal immigrants purposely coming into the United States to have their babies so that they will automatically become citizens. This was clearly not the intent of the Fourteenth Amendment and this abuse needs to be corrected.
*The United States should responsibly withdraw from both Iraq and Afghanistan as soon as possible, but under a plan that allows the best chance of the survival of their democratic governments, and avoid terrorism pockets to re-form. Internal target dates for withdrawal are best, not those announced to the world (and enemies).
*The United States should not enter into any military conflict or war without being under a direct attack or threat of an attack, or due to any threat to our sovereignty as a nation….or a similar violation or threat to one of our allies that we have committed to. This action should take place with the full approval of Congress…unless it requires immediate and urgent action by the President of the United States for self defense purposes. Even in this case, after the fact approval of Congress should be sought in all cases.
*Once the United States enters into a military conflict or war we should go all out to win and use the full capabilities of our military power to end the war as soon as possible. The administration in power, as well as the Congress, must provide the American people with a clear exit strategy. Under no circumstances should we send American soldiers into harm’s way without the full power of the military behind them. No longer should there be limited or politically correct military action that has cost the lives of thousands of American soldiers in the past and has only served to confuse our purpose and prolong our military engagement at a great expense to our nation in lives and money. We should go all out to win, with our full military strength, and get out.
*We should encourage freedom and democracy throughout the world, but we should not attempt to interfere with and manipulate the circumstances within other countries. We should not consider ourselves as the world’s police force. When there is injustice or maltreatment of people we should speak up loudly and work with other countries and try to expose this and peaceably resolve it.
*Even given what has been previously stated, the current threat of terrorism needs to be first fully recognized and then aggressively defended against. This is a real and current threat to the United States and to the American people. We should not allow political correctness to stand in the way of fully defending America and defeating those who have announced that they wish to destroy us. Irrational people can only be brought to rationality through strength.
*We need to use common sense, NOT politically correct, approaches to national security. If we allow a free flow of people across our borders, for sure some are going to be terrorists. This was covered under immigration previously. If we do not share critical information between federal agencies then important national security threats will not be uncovered and dealt with. If 90% of all terrorist acts are committed by radical Muslims, those from mid-eastern countries, then it is not wrong to pay special attention to them in all security situations, in fact it is smart to do so, especially since they have announced their intentions to destroy America and kill Americans. We should stop playing games with our national security for political correctness or out of fear of criticism. The facts speak for themselves.
*We should STOP apologizing for America. America is not perfect, but neither is any other country in the world, in fact many are much worse. We have given American lives for the freedom of other peoples and countries. We have generously helped other countries in need, during disasters, and given billions upon billions of dollars in foreign aid. The American people, as well as our government, has been very compassionate and given, over, and over, and over again. We have nothing to apologize for as compared to other countries. We lose respect through self flagellation. We should all be very proud of America. Improve where necessary, but proud.
*There should be a thorough review of foreign aid, financial aid to other countries. We currently are giving taxpayer money to countries that are anti-American if not our outright enemies. In other cases we are giving money out when we ourselves are currently in a dire economic situation. It makes no sense. All foreign aid should be thoroughly reviewed with an objective to cut back by approximately 50%. Help other countries…yes….but not in situations where we are simply being taken advantage of.
*We should stop wasteful spending programs on projects that are obviously ridiculous and totally unnecessary. There are many, that are often made jokes of, but they are NOT jokes…they waste billions of dollars of taxpayer money. Many have been mentioned and funded even during this period of economic crisis. Identify and stop them.
*The federal government should give tax cuts and incentives to business. As the federal government bureaucracy and wasteful programs are dramatically cut as outlined previously, then there should be more ability to reduce taxes on all fronts…to businesses and individuals. This will be a major positive step for the economy.
*Marriage should only be between one man and one woman. Marriage and family are fundamental and critical building blocks of society, and have been so since the beginning of recorded history. Marriage is also universally regarded as a sacred union. The federal government should do everything possible to support marriage and the family...as well as discourage divorce by providing incentives for marriage and family counseling where necessary and other family supportive initiatives. The family should be recognized as being supremely important to the well being of our nation. Many of the social as well as the criminal problems in our country stem from broken families, or other circumstances where children are not provided the nurturing and supportive care of families. It needs to be recognized by our federal government that family is very, very important to America.
*Same sex couples should be treated with full respect and dignity, just as we should do for any other person or couple. If they so choose they should be allowed to enter into civil unions. In a civil union couples should be given the full financial benefits and considerations.
* We should repeal Roe vs. Wade where already over 50 million lives of helpless, defenseless, innocent children have been taken. This gets right to the soul of America. What kind of nation takes the lives of children? Pope John Paul II called this as part of the "culture of death" and warned how this could destroy a country, destroy a society. Every day, every hour, every minute our soul as a country is being destroyed through the abortion factories throughout our nation, many of which do it for profit with taxpayer funding no less. How can we sleep at night? We should also immediately stop all internationally funding of abortion using taxpayer money. We should be international leaders in the preservation of life, not the exportation of death.
*We should protect our environment and natural resources. But we should do it based upon facts and science, and by allowing a free and open debate on any issues...using facts and science. The now infamous, purposely falsified, "hockey stick" warming graph, that was the basis of the push for action due to global warming now has been completely discredited. Some of the "scientists" who were relied upon purposely falsified data and information. The UN has also been complicit with non-science and non-fact related hysteria over global warming and refuses to allow any contrary scientific facts or information to be presented. This politically correct, and corrupt push to create a fear of global warming has caused gigantic socio-economic problems not only in the United States, but across the world. If allowed to continue it will end up negatively affecting every person on earth, cost millions upon millions of jobs, and many trillions of dollars wastefully. Again, we should be responsible and protect our environment, but we should do it based upon verified facts and science with all points of view fully considered.
*The best way to deal with poverty, hunger, homelessness, and other types of social problems is through legitimate charitable organizations at the local level, not the federal government. Two factors dictate this: 1) The federal government inevitably ends up with a massive, ineffective, and a wasteful bureaucracy that ends up costing taxpayers billions of dollars without solving the problem, on the contrary, it justifies its existence through perpetuation of the problems. 2) We already have set up, in our country, an infrastructure through religious organizations, charitable organizations, soup kitchens, shelters, community centers, etc. that can be most effective in dealing with these types of problems. They should be supported by the federal and state governments, business, and by other profitable organizations, as well as by each one of us, not only with money, but volunteer work. We should come up with tax breaks and creative schemes to offer incentive to all of those aforementioned so that funding and support can be given to these "help" organizations.

We need to restore honesty and high integrity in elected and appointed leadership.
*All proposed federal legislation should be required to be no more than 200 pages in length and should be singular in purpose...addressing only that subject that is proposed and directly related issues, with NO add-ons, pork, riders, earmarks, political paybacks, etc. NONE. The legislation should be required to be written in clear, non legal, understandable language. Legislators should be required to read all proposed legislation prior to their vote. The legislation should be required to be posted for the general public on the internet, or other means of mass communication, newspapers, etc. one week prior to the vote on the bill.

We should recognize that we are a representative democracy, with a free market system that made us the great nation that we are. There is little doubt that currently illegal contributions are being made to candidates, those in office, and to political parties through money laundering, underhanded, and disguised methods. For example, if it were 10%, a person making $25,000 would pay $2,500. A person making $200,000 a year would pay $20,000 in taxes. A person making $2,000,000 would pay $200,000 in taxes. There would be no deductions allowed except those toward charities / organizations that clearly and verifiably help people in need. Otherwise it would be just a simple percentage calculation based on gross income. Any person, without outside assistance, should be able to understand and file income tax accordingly.

Internal target dates for withdrawal are best, not those announced to the world (and enemies).
*The United States should not enter into any military conflict or war without being under a direct attack or threat of an attack, or due to any threat to our sovereignty as a nation….or a similar violation or threat to one of our allies that we have committed to. This action should take place with the full approval of Congress…unless it requires immediate and urgent action by the President of the United States for self defense purposes. Even in this case, after the fact approval of Congress should be sought in all cases.
*Once the United States enters into a military conflict or war we should go all out to win and use the full capabilities of our military power to end the war as soon as possible. The administration in power, as well as the Congress, must provide the American people with a clear exit strategy. Under no circumstances should we send American soldiers into harm’s way without the full power of the military behind them. No longer should there be limited or politically correct military action that has cost the lives of thousands of American soldiers in the past and has only served to confuse our purpose and prolong our military engagement at a great expense to our nation in lives and money. We should go all out to win, with our full military strength, and get out.
*We should encourage freedom and democracy throughout the world, but we should not attempt to interfere with and manipulate the circumstances within other countries. We should not consider ourselves as the world’s police force. When there is injustice or maltreatment of people we should speak up loudly and work with other countries and try to expose this and peaceably resolve it.
*Even given what has been previously stated, the current threat of terrorism needs to be first fully recognized and then aggressively defended against. This is a real and current threat to the United States and to the American people. We should not allow political correctness to stand in the way of fully defending America and defeating those who have announced that they wish to destroy us. Irrational people can only be brought to rationality through strength.
*We need to use common sense, NOT politically correct, approaches to national security. If we allow a free flow of people across our borders, for sure some are going to be terrorists. This was covered under immigration previously. If we do not share critical information between federal agencies then important national security threats will not be uncovered and dealt with. If 90% of all terrorist acts are committed by radical Muslims, those from mid-eastern countries, then it is not wrong to pay special attention to them in all security situations, in fact it is smart to do so, especially since they have announced their intentions to destroy America and kill Americans. We should stop playing games with our national security for political correctness or out of fear of criticism. The facts speak for themselves.
*We should STOP apologizing for America. America is not perfect, but neither is any other country in the world, in fact many are much worse. We have given American lives for the freedom of other peoples and countries. We have generously helped other countries in need, during disasters, and given billions upon billions of dollars in foreign aid. The American people, as well as our government, has been very compassionate and given, over, and over, and over again. We have nothing to apologize for as compared to other countries. We lose respect through self flagellation. We should all be very proud of America. Improve where necessary, but proud.
*There should be a thorough review of foreign aid, financial aid to other countries. We currently are giving taxpayer money to countries that are anti-American if not our outright enemies. In other cases we are giving money out when we ourselves are currently in a dire economic situation. It makes no sense. All foreign aid should be thoroughly reviewed with an objective to cut back by approximately 50%. Help other countries…yes….but not in situations where we are simply being taken advantage of.
*We should stop wasteful spending programs on projects that are obviously ridiculous and totally unnecessary. There are many, that are often made jokes of, but they are NOT jokes…they waste billions of dollars of taxpayer money. Many have been mentioned and funded even during this period of economic crisis. Identify and stop them.
*The federal government should give tax cuts and incentives to business. As the federal government bureaucracy and wasteful programs are dramatically cut as outlined previously, then there should be more ability to reduce taxes on all fronts…to businesses and individuals. This will be a major positive step for the economy.
*Marriage should only be between one man and one woman. Marriage and family are fundamental and critical building blocks of society, and have been so since the beginning of recorded history. Marriage is also universally regarded as a sacred union. The federal government should do everything possible to support marriage and the family...as well as discourage divorce by providing incentives for marriage and family counseling where necessary and other family supportive initiatives. The family should be recognized as being supremely important to the well being of our nation. Many of the social as well as the criminal problems in our country stem from broken families, or other circumstances where children are not provided the nurturing and supportive care of families. It needs to be recognized by our federal government that family is very, very important to America.
*Same sex couples should be treated with full respect and dignity, just as we should do for any other person or couple. If they so choose they should be allowed to enter into civil unions. In a civil union couples should be given the full financial benefits and considerations.
* We should repeal Roe vs. Wade where already over 50 million lives of helpless, defenseless, innocent children have been taken. This gets right to the soul of America. What kind of nation takes the lives of children? Pope John Paul II called this as part of the "culture of death" and warned how this could destroy a country, destroy a society. Every day, every hour, every minute our soul as a country is being destroyed through the abortion factories throughout our nation, many of which do it for profit with taxpayer funding no less. How can we sleep at night? We should also immediately stop all internationally funding of abortion using taxpayer money. We should be international leaders in the preservation of life, not the exportation of death.
*We should protect our environment and natural resources. But we should do it based upon facts and science, and by allowing a free and open debate on any issues...using facts and science. The now infamous, purposely falsified, "hockey stick" warming graph, that was the basis of the push for action due to global warming now has been completely discredited. Some of the "scientists" who were relied upon purposely falsified data and information. The UN has also been complicit with non-science and non-fact related hysteria over global warming and refuses to allow any contrary scientific facts or information to be presented. This politically correct, and corrupt push to create a fear of global warming has caused gigantic socio-economic problems not only in the United States, but across the world. If allowed to continue it will end up negatively affecting every person on earth, cost millions upon millions of jobs, and many trillions of dollars wastefully. Again, we should be responsible and protect our environment, but we should do it based upon verified facts and science with all points of view fully considered.
*The best way to deal with poverty, hunger, homelessness, and other types of social problems is through legitimate charitable organizations at the local level, not the federal government. Two factors dictate this: 1) The federal government inevitably ends up with a massive, ineffective, and a wasteful bureaucracy that ends up costing taxpayers billions of dollars without solving the problem, on the contrary, it justifies its existence through perpetuation of the problems. 2) We already have set up, in our country, an infrastructure through religious organizations, charitable organizations, soup kitchens, shelters, community centers, etc. that can be most effective in dealing with these types of problems. They should be supported by the federal and state governments, business, and by other profitable organizations, as well as by each one of us, not only with money, but volunteer work. We should come up with tax breaks and creative schemes to offer incentive to all of those aforementioned so that funding and support can be given to these "help" organizations.

Block Voting Should Stop - For the Good of America
Currently we have groups of people who vote in "blocks", they all vote the same as being part of a group identity or common association. This includes Jews, blacks, and union members....they tend to all vote the same. In a sense, this gives up personal identity as well as one of our most precious and sacred rights as an American...the right to vote. Let's look at why this should stop for reasons of personal integrity, as well as for the good of America.
While it was understandable why most Jews in years past voted in favor of traditional democratic party candidates, it is no longer the same party. The Democratic Party has very clearly shifted to the far left. This definitely includes anti-Semitism, as well as being anti-Israel. In addition the party's unwritten platform clearly contradicts the religious, spiritual, and traditional values of Judaism. It is now like spitting in one's own face to blindly vote democratic, but this is what has happened with recent elections.
Since the necessary civil rights movement in our country, in recent years many black leaders have purposely kept black people in the position of being "victims" and have manipulated this approach for their own personal gain, while doing little for people of color. They have encouraged black people to all vote democratic. Yet the Democratic Party has taken their votes with minimal benefit. The proof lies in the results. Louisiana, as just one example, in the past was lead by many corrupt politicians who took, but did little for the people. New Orleans, under the democrats, has been a continual disaster where many people of color stayed in a state of poverty. The same holds true for the cities of Detroit, Chicago, Los Angeles, St. Louis, Buffalo, Cincinnati, Cleveland, El Paso, Milwaukee, Philadelphia, Newark, and more. Does this condition dictate block voting in favor of the democrats?? It is time for some new thinking.
The problem with union members voting in a block should be as clear as a bell. Union leadership today is more corrupt than ever, and it is much more than taking funds out of pensions plans and political favoritism. Many of the leaders of the larger unions are outright socialists, even Marxists. Listen to their words. They are attempting to take the socialist "distribution of wealth" theme internationally. This means higher pay for workers in foreign countries at the expense of America and American workers. The tremendous loss of manufacturing jobs in the United States in favor of foreign countries is a direct result of globalist leaders of unions. In order to exercise more control over union members, and manipulate them, they are attempting to take away a union members right to a secret ballot when it comes to voting on union matters. What could be more sacred? The bottom line is that union leaders are USING union members to achieve THEIR goals, not for the benefit of members. Union members should clearly think through whether they want to continue to vote in block under the direction and beckoning call of union leaders. The American people have great respect for union members, and the American worker...that isn't the issue. It is the current leadership...more corrupt, more anti-capitalism, and even more anti-democracy than ever.

New Voter / Taxpayer Guide for Government Programs
Based on the factual history of the actual costs of government programs, there is a new guide that should be used, albeit even this may be very conservative. Almost without exception government programs cost multiples of what they originally say that they will...even when the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) gives a cost estimate. There have been thousands of examples of this throughout the years with big and small programs.
The "mixing bowl" highway interchange project in Springfield, Virginia for instance. It was estimated to cost $241 million, it ended up costing $676 million.
The Clinch River Breeder Reactor Project of the 1970's involving nuclear fission was estimated by the Atomic Energy Commission to cost $400 million. Throughout the decade its cost estimates steadily increased to $4 billion. Eventually the program was scrapped, but not before taxpayers dished out $1.7 billion.
The infamous "Big Dig", the Central Artery/Tunnel Project project in Boston was originally estimated at $ 2.8 billion and will end up somewhere near $22 billion, with very questionable accounting at that.
Overrun costs of military aircraft and other military vehicles and weapons have been enormous and there have been many of them. Cost overruns have been out of sight vs. original estimates. This appears to be accepted as a way of life on government military contracts.
Overruns in Social Security are legendary. When it was established in 1935, its financing required only a one percent of wages contribution from the employee and a matching one percent from the employer. Over the years, reform has eventually raised those contribution levels to 6.2 percent respectively. Today, the outlook is even more dismal for Social Security. We are faced with an estimated $45 trillion in future unfunded liabilities!
When Medicare Part A was passed in 1965, government experts projected costs to rise to $9 billion by 1990. Total costs actually reached $67 billion. In 1987, Medicaid added a special hospital subsidy to its coverage which was projected to cost $100 million. By 1992, costs stood at $11 billion per year.
Need we go on? It is proven, based on history and factual evidence, that anything that our government estimates, on any program or project, will cost multiples of what they say that it will.
The NEW TAXPAYER / VOTER GUIDE to federal programs or projects is to MULTIPLY THE ESTIMATE BY 3. This is a very, very conservative approach and will at least give the American people a much better estimate of what to really expect. For example, our federal government said that national healthcare would cost close to $1 trillion. Multiply that by 3.....a very conservative estimate and more reliable number is $3 trillion.
This should be the new guide for all taxpayers and voters...multiply by 3.

An Attack on Parenthood is Coming
Now underway in Massachusetts there is a sneak attack on the rights of parents. (In some form it is happening in ALL states throughout the country.) It is starting with "recommendations" but you can be sure if parents don't speak up it will become fixed in school curriculums. The sneak attack is coming under "The Massachusetts Health Curriculum Frameworks". While no one is opposed to heath education, it goes much further than that. It includes how to get an abortion without parental knowledge; how to get contraceptives; "behaviors" for pregnancy prevention; acceptance of premarital sex; and curriculum on homosexual behavior as early as grade 6. All of this will usurp the rights of parents.
Parents who are concerned should take immediate action to head this off. First we must use our votes to elect good people for public office in the state. Many of the current elected politicians have a religious faith that is directly opposed to much of this...including many Catholics. If these elected representatives violate their own religious faith, then how can they be trusted with other issues of government?
Parents and taxpayers must take back control of our public schools. There currently is a 5 Step Program that is being promoted throughout the country for this purpose:
1) Form a Committee of Concerned Parents and Taxpayers.
2) Put together a Parents / Taxpayers Bill of Rights with respect to the public school system. If this "Bill of Rights" meets opposition then get it in the ballot in the next local election so it becomes law.
3) Seek out, support, and elect good candidates for the Board of Education.
4) Replace superintendents and school administrators who do not act in the best interests of the students and the community. Change policies that are not in the best interests of the students and the community.
5) Keep a constant vigil and remember that this is for your children, the most precious resource in the community. "Public" means serving and responsible to the community.
It is time for all parents to assert their natural rights as parents and the importance of family. It is your job...not the states'.

Warning: Attempts to Bail Out Biased Media Coming
The NY Times, The Boston Globe, The Los Angeles Times, Newsweek, Time...and the list goes on and on...that includes many other left wing publications and propaganda machines, that are on the verge of bankruptcy, if not already bankrupt. The same is true with television programs such as "Real Time with Bill Maher" on HBO, "Countdown with Keith Olbermann" on MSNBC, and other such shows. Nobody (or very few) watch them, yet they continue. With any other business if customers are very dissatisfied the business adjusts according to market demands, and changes their approach, or simply goes out of business. Not with these failing media sources. Why? They give the excuse of the Internet communication making them irrelevant, but this doesn't hold water since others in the same venues are successful.
This situation should bring about very serious questions. First, it is apparent that their agenda is more important than financial success. The agenda of the constant feeding of propaganda with the attempt to influence the American people is more important. Alarmingly much of this includes anti-American, anti- Constitution, anti-democracy, anti-God, and pro-socialism rhetoric. It is not surprising that the American people react negatively to all this, hence the financial failure of these media sources.

The American people deserve to know, and to know what the motives are behind this hidden support. It must be there, otherwise they wouldn't continue to exist. The Federal Trade Commission (FTC) is currently entertaining a major government bailout to “help the newspaper business".

Critical For America - Support Christine O'Donnell !

I urge you to consider supporting Christine O'Donnell for Senator from Delaware. This is a chance to send a very strong message. She beat Mike Castle in the Republican primary. He was a guy who voted for many of the Obama spending programs as well as Cap & Trade that will be destructive to America. He also has ties to George Soros who is using his billions of dollars in an attempt to undermine America. Castle's first act in defeat was NOT to call his opponent and congratulate her, but call Obama and Biden. That shows his true colors. Good for her, she beat him!
Now, as you can imagine, the media and some Democrats are engaged in a smear campaign, just as they did, and are doing, with Sarah Palin. Yet she is a good person, a Christian who stands up for values, and will be an excellent Senator who will represent the people and help bring a halt to Obama. Don't believe their smears and exaggerations. Her Democratic opponent, Chris Coons, is about as far left as you can get. He definitely is a socialist with Marxist leanings who will support ALL of Obama's programs.
Even though you are not from Delaware it is critical for all of us to support her for two reasons. First, it is critical to have her as another conservative, values oriented, Senator in the Senate so that the balance of power can be shifted back to what is good for America. Secondly, they are saying she doesn't have a chance amidst all their smears. Let's show them that she DOES and help her get elected.

The Failures of the Republicans, Upcoming Elections
The American people are extremely upset over our country's direction under the leadership of President Obama, and Senate / House leaders, Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi. This should mean sweeping gains in both the Senate and the House by Republicans in the November elections. This may not happen due to the failures of Republican Party leadership.
First, what the American people want to hear is what specific plans and alternatives are the Republicans offering on the economy, jobs, healthcare, immigration, national security, and all the key issues facing our country today. To date no specific plans are evident. This is a major failure.
The Republican establishment, or elite, seem to suffer the same problem as the Democrats...a failure to listen to the American people, and most importantly for them, their Republican constituency. They seem to want to play both ends against the middle, waffling on key issues, leaning toward the middle, even the left, when their constituents are crying, actually screaming from the rooftops, for conservatism. Yet they are not being heard.
Finally, and most importantly, there is a failure by the Republican Party establishment in understanding and paying serious attention to the major grass roots force that exists with the Tea Parties. This major movement across our country is being misrepresented by some, but it is a real and powerful movement by everyday Americans that will bring a major influence to all the elections. Already, in the primaries, its' presence has been felt. Yet instead of embracing and incorporating the Tea Party movement, the Republican establishment seems to be fighting it. They are clinging to their middle of the road waffling, rather than the change and true conservatism that the Tea Party movement is crying for.
The Republicans stand poised to take back control of the House, and possibly even the Senate, as a backlash against the current leadership. This may not happen due to the reasons given above.
First, what the American people want to hear is what specific plans and alternatives are the Republicans offering on the economy, jobs, healthcare, immigration, national security, and all the key issues facing our country today. To date no specific plans are evident. This is a major failure.
The Republican establishment, or elite, seem to suffer the same problem as the Democrats...a failure to listen to the American people, and most importantly for them, their Republican constituency. They seem to want to play both ends against the middle, waffling on key issues, leaning toward the middle, even the left, when their constituents are crying, actually screaming from the rooftops, for conservatism. September 11, 2001, For One Brief Moment
For One Brief Moment
For one brief moment on September 11, 2001 time seemed to stand still. People sought family members and recognized the importance of family. Parents gathered their children with a self -protecting love. Helping and caring about other people occurred. Acts of charity were plentiful and strong. There was an assessment of life and what is really important. News media, and many others, invoked the name of God. Churches and places of worship were full. People unashamedly prayed.
There was a strong feeling of patriotism, a pride in being American, and a desire to show the flag. Crime, and even the thought of it, was absent. We were all in support of our President. Congress, and all elected leadership, worked together for the good of the country instead of partisan politics. Nations across the world expressed concern, sadness, and unity with the United States.
